Thank you for watching! I don't recall seeing fishermen in action, but I did see fishing boats at the marina. Cabo is great for fishing, and some restaurants will cook your fish for you. Have a great trip!

Hi! Thanks for watching! We mostly took cabs/Uber to get around. Rented a car for two days to get out to the North Shore and Kualoa Ranch.

My concern is kids and irresponsible parents creating noise etc, day passes allowed for cruise ship passengers to utilize the resort facilities. Also, the location being isolated and eating and doing the same food and activities would be a Groundhog Day dilemma, possibly day after day. Also, a 20-minute walk from the beach to your room one way would kill your day time wise. I also don't enjoy waking up early or fighting for chairs or being around a lot of people while on the beach or at the pool.

Thank you for watching! Yes. There are restaurants on the property and additional options nearby. Some rooms have been updated. I moved to the Wave Wing from the Beach Wing for updated accommodations. It was great! I highly recommend this property!

Would this place be nice for kids?

Which package did you get
Hi! I didn't have a specific package because I used mostly credit card points to book. I hope you get to visit the island and stay at this hotel. It's amazing!

Would you recommend a car rental or is BART efficient enough to get me around the city?
A combination of BART and taxis should be sufficient for the city and the East Bay. Have fun!
Thanks for sharing. This really helped. We are planning our trip for the end of October. I’m concerned about the beach. It didn’t seem crowded where you were. Can you tell me where exactly you were. Also, what floor were you on in the hotel?
Thanks so much for watching! I honestly cannot remember which floor I was on. I stayed at the Embassy Suites Waikiki and entered the beach area right out of the hotel. I hope this helps!
We’re also staying at the Embassy Suites should we be renting a car while in the big island? Your suggestion will be much appreciated.
Thanks for watching! If you want to visit other areas of the island like we did, I recommend renting a car. You can do it for just a couple of days versus your whole trip.

Thank you for watching! When I was there, the swim up bar was closed. But that was a few months ago now. It may have reopened.
These are just as fun as when I saw them two days ago from the 17th floor of Polo Towers.

How was the AC in the rooms? Do you feel they had a wide variety of excursions to choose from?
Hi! The AC unit was in the bedroom and really cooled down the room. If you keep the living room door open that room will also benefit. There are multiple excursions and the front desk can set them up for you. Most options were closed when we arrived due to COVID-19. Once opened the front desk let us know and set up a full day outing for us. The AC and the fans worked well for us. The property offered a nice variety of excursions. You can also book excursions online through other vendors.
Nice video. Thank you for posting. I’m at a toss up between Hilton Hawaiian Village because of the pools and a more affordable hotel. Knowing there are shops right outside actually makes this more desirable…I mean there’s always the beach.

Who ever comes to Puerto Rico Please go to this Restaurant called La Madre in San Juan. Make reservations a day before. We been to many restaurants in the island that was the best one!

Thank you and thanks for tuning in! There were two options inside that would fit the description of breakfast to go. First, Starbucks would have most of the items you're used to seeing in this popular chain. Secondly, Ice Cream & Cookies Co, has ham and cheese croissants and sandwiches, along with some pastry options. I hope this helps!
Awesome tour! I have a question. Was everything (food and drinks) all inclusive? Did they offer breakfast?
No. This is not an all inclusive resort. There is a main breakfast restaurant and options for lunch and dinner. The ice cream shop was my favorite for a reasonably priced lunchtime sandwich. There are tons of optioms within walking distance.
I booked this hotel for my trip in a few weeks, so it’s nice to know it’s an acceptable accommodation. How was your COVID test verified when you arrived? Were your results back in time?
Hi there! Hawaii has an online system where you will upload your results when they're ready. Our results were not in when we landed. A rep from the airport called the hotel and one we arrived they put us in a room in a specific area of the hotel. They came in overnight and we moved to our actual room. It was a busy time for testing back in November, but we still met the 72 hour timeframe for results.

Why in gods name are the rooms in Hawaii so darn dated! After coming back from Cancun, Cabo and Santorini they have to step it up especially for the price lol
I can't speak for all of the hotels in Hawaii! LOL! But I do have to say that I like the recent renovations at Embassy Suites. The suites all received new furnishings, and each one is now adorned with local art. And Santorini is on my list. I see you beat me there! :)
