One of the best GD scenes in the entire series. The emotions were palpable.

Queen Maeve and A-Train both had to remind themselves that they are human. Maeve saw herself in Starlight, and A-Train saw himself through the ties of family values. Notice how in first season Homelander uses the word “family” like a manipulation tool for his control and cooperation Then his brother and Hughie and MM remind him what real family is all about Makes sense why The Deep and Noir 2 can’t be reached cuz they don’t have the ties of knowing what that is. I’d wager that maybe-just maybe Firecracker can come around enough to have her guard down if Starlight finds some bit of something in there but really it’s more like the opposite would happen and she’ll continue to remind Starlight what she used to be

I just realized the boys features 3 of the greatest tv villains Negan, Gus and Homelander.

A-Train is one of the best written characters ever, period. His gradual change from a self justifying narcissist to a true hero is inspiring.

I hope Reggie and Nathan can come to an understanding point. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows. Yes it was selfish of Atrain to kill blue hawk, but at the end of the end. Homelander would not let him serve time at all. If this was Ryan that was paralyzed then Honelander would have killed him, instead it was Nathan. I believe A-train needed the “push” from being abandoned by his own brother to hating kissing homelander’s feet and rightfully so. His redemption arc is reminiscent to Zuko’s he wants to atone for is past sins by actually being a real hero. I’m glad he joined The Boy. So far he’s proven himself that he has saved lives, from exposing storefront to saving Marvin’s life. My favorite part was when Hughie kept is ending of the bargain and forgave Reggie for accidentally killing Robin. Now it’s up to Starlight, Butcher, and maybe Atrain to save the rest of the team. I want see a flash back to when Reggie cuts out his chip and goes to his brother and warns him says “Listen I know you hate me right now, they know I betrayed Vought. If you want to live. We need to leave NOW. Because they kill you ALL for helping out the CIA. I also want to see Reggie’s nephews hear about and understand that their uncle is actually hero or a super spy, but everything is top secret or classified.

Redemption is not synonymous with Forgiveness. Him choosing to recognize his wrongdoings and strive to be better is a redemption. Being forgiven by his victims does not make him better. And being better does not make him forgiven. They can go together. But they do not require one another.

my favorite part about season 4 is my boy a-train, as the only black dude in the 7 i wanted to root for him for so long but he just kept disappointing me, but i was smiling the whole of s4.... he'll probably die soon that's for sure but he'll die a hero

This was personally my favourite scene from season 4, powerful writing and performances from them both. 2 complicated men surrounded by corruption and depravity and trying to push through the BS.

Its just insane that A-Train went from being one of the most hated to one of the most loved characters in the whole show.

Mentioning Butcher's you know to Maeve almost made me think they'd have a kid - continuing the parallel between him and Homelander (having a child with "their" respective women). But I suppose that point blank blast of radiation from Soldier Boy would've aborted whatever was there before it formed, along with the V.

I love how MM realizes how much A-Train changed and tries to convince him that he plays with fire. But he does a right thing.

I knew shii was wild and out of pocket messed up when A-Train start giving motivational speeches 😂😂😂

I always thought He deserves to be in jail for what he did to Hughes girl, however, this scene made me realize he probably believes he deserves it too
