    When you anchor the strip down the middle do you leave the sides open? Or do you anchor them down also then remove inserts? Also, how do you keep the fringes loose? I missed some parts. This was a wonderful process! Thankyou so much for this wonderful tutorial. 💖💐

    I was like you trying to learn this technique years ago when nothing was really available on it in the States. This is still one of the best videos out there for those just beginning. For those who venture into using synthetic fabrics the only additional info I would say isn't covered here is synthetic fabrics can result in a dull finish on the surface. The silk creates a shiny sheen which is hard to achieve with a lot of synthetic fabrics. Some weaves of synthetics can be manipulated to felt by using a needle felt tool to puncture it all over creating more ability for the fibers to work through the fabric. Thank you for creating such a useful and informative video. Happy felting!

    Wow! I would have never thought to use that wooden foot massager thing. (I’m a beginner to wet felting though). I totally have one of those massagers at home right now. Excited! Also, what are your thoughts on those bamboo mats lots of people use? I’ve seen people use towels around the bubble wrap too. Not sure what I should use with that?

    • @feltingcreations8624
      @feltingcreations8624 3 года назад

      I use bamboo Mats for items in creating that have more substance like a wall hanging or bird houses etc. I use the bubble wrap with my garments and lighter weight items. Towels around the Bubble wrap help with traction for you and also absorb any excess water that starts leaking out. A normal set up for something like a scarf would be bubble wrap, painters plastic, pool noodle, something to tie with (I use panty hose) and then a towel to wrap around and then tie off. Let me know what you decide to you and how it has worked out 😀😀

    Absolutely gorgeous!! I wouldn't have dreamed that sequins and beads would felt! My favorite part of wet felting is the fulling...I could do it for hours. Rolling...not so much, but I won't be buying a Gentle Roller!! Thank you for sharing...

    • @feltingcreations8624
      @feltingcreations8624 3 года назад

      They will definitely felt if they are attached to silk. I LOVE Fulling too! The gentle roller is definitely an investment but worth it for me. I had cancer in my spine a few years back and it makes it difficult for me to roll. So it’s a HUGE help. But it’s absolutely one of those investment decisions I had to made. If you ever do think about a felting machine this one is the way to go 😁 thanks for watching!! I hope you enjoyed it

    Thank you for making and sharing this video. I make lots of felted scarves, but not much with nuno as I have been a bit hesitant, mainly with regard to sizing. My table is 7feet, so I now feel confidant that I would be able to make one of these. I really like how your scarf turned out. :)

    • @feltingcreations8624
      @feltingcreations8624 3 года назад

      Oh yes go for it! I would use the whole length of your table. This scarf fits me personally and I have a smaller size head. So a 7ft table would be perfect! And thank you so much, I am so glad you liked it💜😁

    Your scarf turned out beautiful. Love all the colors and textures!, Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. I am excited to begin my journey in felting and have spent a great deal of time watching tutorials and way too much time on Pinterest. I really appreciate your previous videos explaining in great detail all the different fibers and embellishments. Understanding what embellishments can be used has been my biggest roadblock and now I feel like I can purchase the materials with confidence. It’s a bit overwhelming to see so many beautiful works that inspire you to create, when your’re uncertain of the material used to create the effect. You have done a great job showing and explaining this! I have been mostly unsure about yarns and synthetics. Am I correct in understanding that if a yarn has a percentage of animal protein in it, it will felt? And you can use 100% synthetic yarn as long as you use wool to bind it? My question is do you have to cover the synthetic yarn completely for it to fully adhere or if you only partially cover it will the non covered spots stay separate from the piece? Thanks so much!,

    • @feltingcreations8624
      @feltingcreations8624 3 года назад

      I’m so happy your beginning your felting journey! You can use 100% synthetic yarn but you need to have fiber underneath it and depending on the thickness and density of the synthetic yarn you may need to add a small amount of fiber on top here and there. You can always add more wool on top if you find during the felting process that it needs more
