Fabulous scarf the best I have seen hope you can share some more as your is so different
Maybe I should keep my wool in plastic tubs like sterilite or Rubbermaid clear containers
@@fancyfree8228 I use reusable food saver bags. They are like a zip lock bag that is vacuum sealed. They are wonderful! Saves on space and keeps the wool from dust and bugs
I love Wixby!
Thank you for sharing your expertise - this is lovely ❤️
When you anchor the strip down the middle do you leave the sides open? Or do you anchor them down also then remove inserts? Also, how do you keep the fringes loose? I missed some parts. This was a wonderful process! Thankyou so much for this wonderful tutorial. 💖💐
Just beautiful I 😅missed how any layers you did could you please tell me many thanks
Where do you get the felting apparatus that looks like an abacus?
Почему так долго валялась такая тонкая работа? Может плохую шерсть взяли? Я такую вещ валяю за 15 минут.
Thank you! Very helpful information.
Por favor subtitula los vídeos. Gracias desde España
Wow
As a new wet felter, this was quite informative. Thank you so much for explaining so thoroughly
Your very welcome! I’m glad it was helpful ❤
Too fast
How much in materials did it cost to make that?
again you've offered a wonderful accommodation fir folks who are aging or have a chronic condition. showing how we can leave a project for quite some time and getting back to it well rested.i hope your channel grows and you continue to enable us all.
you had a lot of technical problems with this one but i love the demonstration of using your feet! i'm getting older and i think i can do this to keep going when my arms get tired.
One of the better tutorials on nuno felting that I have seen. Good amount of talking, but also good for people who have done some nuno felting and can benefit from the unique techniques. Thank you
Thank You
Perché fate video che nn servono a nulla? Super veloci
And... You didn't show is what it looked like after the felting process? Or am I overlooking a video?
Thank you for taking the time to make this.
I was like you trying to learn this technique years ago when nothing was really available on it in the States. This is still one of the best videos out there for those just beginning. For those who venture into using synthetic fabrics the only additional info I would say isn't covered here is synthetic fabrics can result in a dull finish on the surface. The silk creates a shiny sheen which is hard to achieve with a lot of synthetic fabrics. Some weaves of synthetics can be manipulated to felt by using a needle felt tool to puncture it all over creating more ability for the fibers to work through the fabric. Thank you for creating such a useful and informative video. Happy felting!
Would love to see finish
Here is the link to the finished look ruclips.net/video/FI9ERAgii98/видео.html I’m glad you enjoyed the video 😊
I would love to see finish
Beautiful
This is not a craft in your case; this is *art*; and because you have the heart of a true artist you are sharing and teaching. It's 2:00 am and I'm touched at your generosity and creativity!
Wow that was so sweet and kind of you! Thank you so much! I am so so glad you enjoyed the video
GREAT job on the video! This was incredibly helpful as I'm trying to figure out what to start with, where the "hankies" come from, etc. Thank you!
So glad you found it helpful😁😁

Stunning work will follow you again you give such encouragement thank you
Thanks so much 😊 Im so glad you were encouraged! That is my goal
Does it harm the wool if you vacuum it?
Thank you so much for your information.
You are so welcome!
This is absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I have health issues myself and still want to start felting. The material is already set on my table. You really inspired me. Thanks again. 💞
I am so glad you are feeling inspired. Getting sick is what lead me to felting. I hope you are doing well and I hope felting becomes that thing in your life that can take you away from the sickness and every other worry like it is/was for me. Prayers to you!!
Thank u for sharing with us your art.
Your so welcome, glad you enjoyed it😁

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing, it is was so relaxing just watching 2 ☺️
Aww Thank you I’m so glad that you enjoyed watching it 😀
very usefull info.
Thank you so much
Wow! I would have never thought to use that wooden foot massager thing. (I’m a beginner to wet felting though). I totally have one of those massagers at home right now. Excited! Also, what are your thoughts on those bamboo mats lots of people use? I’ve seen people use towels around the bubble wrap too. Not sure what I should use with that?
I use bamboo Mats for items in creating that have more substance like a wall hanging or bird houses etc. I use the bubble wrap with my garments and lighter weight items. Towels around the Bubble wrap help with traction for you and also absorb any excess water that starts leaking out. A normal set up for something like a scarf would be bubble wrap, painters plastic, pool noodle, something to tie with (I use panty hose) and then a towel to wrap around and then tie off. Let me know what you decide to you and how it has worked out 😀😀
Oh wow! What a gorgeous scarf. How long did it actually take from start to finish?
It took a Few days... takes me a bit longer than most people because of medical problems. So you might be able to get it done much sooner 😀
Wonderful great video thanks😮
Absolutely gorgeous!! I wouldn't have dreamed that sequins and beads would felt! My favorite part of wet felting is the fulling...I could do it for hours. Rolling...not so much, but I won't be buying a Gentle Roller!! Thank you for sharing...
They will definitely felt if they are attached to silk. I LOVE Fulling too! The gentle roller is definitely an investment but worth it for me. I had cancer in my spine a few years back and it makes it difficult for me to roll. So it’s a HUGE help. But it’s absolutely one of those investment decisions I had to made. If you ever do think about a felting machine this one is the way to go 😁 thanks for watching!! I hope you enjoyed it
Really informative. Thank you.
I’m so glad you liked it, thank you for watching. If you subscribe and hit the notification bell you can be alerted on my next video😁👍
Thank you for making and sharing this video. I make lots of felted scarves, but not much with nuno as I have been a bit hesitant, mainly with regard to sizing. My table is 7feet, so I now feel confidant that I would be able to make one of these. I really like how your scarf turned out. :)
Oh yes go for it! I would use the whole length of your table. This scarf fits me personally and I have a smaller size head. So a 7ft table would be perfect! And thank you so much, I am so glad you liked it💜😁
Your scarf turned out beautiful. Love all the colors and textures!, Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. I am excited to begin my journey in felting and have spent a great deal of time watching tutorials and way too much time on Pinterest. I really appreciate your previous videos explaining in great detail all the different fibers and embellishments. Understanding what embellishments can be used has been my biggest roadblock and now I feel like I can purchase the materials with confidence. It’s a bit overwhelming to see so many beautiful works that inspire you to create, when your’re uncertain of the material used to create the effect. You have done a great job showing and explaining this! I have been mostly unsure about yarns and synthetics. Am I correct in understanding that if a yarn has a percentage of animal protein in it, it will felt? And you can use 100% synthetic yarn as long as you use wool to bind it? My question is do you have to cover the synthetic yarn completely for it to fully adhere or if you only partially cover it will the non covered spots stay separate from the piece? Thanks so much!,
I’m so happy your beginning your felting journey! You can use 100% synthetic yarn but you need to have fiber underneath it and depending on the thickness and density of the synthetic yarn you may need to add a small amount of fiber on top here and there. You can always add more wool on top if you find during the felting process that it needs more
@@feltingcreations8624 Thanks so much for the reply! I’ll give it a shot.
Oh thank you Marilyn for your comment. 😉👍👍👍 I am German and it's kinda hard for me to express myself in English. You just wrote everything what was on my mind. 🤗 Plus the answer. Thank you both. 🤗 Greetings from Germany.
Great job!!
Thank you! 🥰😀
Thank you!! This was probably the BEST information video on this topic!!!!
Wow! Thank you so much ! I’m so glad it was helpful 😁😁
Great enthusiasm and budget tool examples. It looks like the white 10" table leg extensions are made from 2" PVC irrigation tubing (maybe Schedule 40). See sides of the tubing for printed sizing.
Thank you! I’m always looking for budget friendly options 😁
