At the ressie
Просмотров 232 месяца назад
As kids we called it the "Ressie" and had some good times there. It's now Eliburn reservoir in Eliburn park. A nice place to walk with or without dogs and take the kids to see the water fowl. Plenty ducks swans etc and platforms at points to get close and feed them. It's also a coarse fishery so the platforms are ideal for this.Plenty of woodland walkways too.

Just a short film to show this structure. The only wooden viaduct remaining on the British railway network, the Aultnaslanach Viaduct (also Allt na Slanach or Allt na Slanaich) is located on the Perth-Inverness railway in Strathdearn, a half-mile (1 km) west southwest of Moy Hall and 8 miles (13 km) southeast of Inverness. The viaduct crosses the Allt na Slanaich, a modest tributary of the Moy ...

Loch Katrine

Loch Katrine is a freshwater loch in the Trossachs area of the Scottish Highlands, east of Loch Lomond, within the historic county and registration county of Perthshire and the contemporary district of Stirling. The loch is about 8 miles long and 1 mile wide at its widest point, and runs the length of Strath Gartney. I only managed the bottom of the loch as it was howling wind and rain when i g...
Soldier's leap & Killiecrankie pass.
Просмотров 467 месяцев назад
Beautiful countryside, impressive viaduct and many nice wee towns in the area. What is the story of the soldiers leap? It celebrates the Battle of Killiecrankie on 27 July 1689, when the tranquillity of this beautiful gorge was shattered by the first shots fired in the Jacobite cause. One government soldier escaped by making a spectacular jump 18 feet across the River Garry at a spot known toda...

The Centre is the major shopping centre in the area with retail parks around it and the main drag along there is called Almondvale Boulevard. I went to film christmas lights along the boulevard but it was dissapointing so on the way back up i done a hyperlapse at the end to spruce things up. Hope you all enjoy anyway and merrys christmas and happy new year to all.

I love seeing places like this thanks for sharing great to see 👍
@Valhalla764 me too, most folk go to more well known places but these ones are easier to film and have as much history as the well known one's.
Nice mixture of shots

This snp lot are an odd bunch, I was passing through Glasgow Green on Saturday, it's like a cult.
Yes bikers are indifferent to partys, this film is about them, not a Party political broadcast.
@@macbhd1 doesn't look that way. And I seen them at that snp thing in glasgow green
@ncrnw4385 whatever yer thoughts, it's about them not a party
The people of Scotland would benefit more from a fully independent government no matter who is in charge. It's a common misconception that it would have to involve the SNP at all
Crackin footage ,mate
Cheers

Thought you got hyperlapse with the 4pro
@@macbhd1 Yes i forgot about that so much features on the 4pro and there was an updated the other day to confuse me even more with options
nice Bud , night vid looks great , looks like a decent shopping centre compared to the crap in Glenrothes 😂
Mate it's a huge area when ye take in the retail parks,I only wanted the main road but it was a poor show. Between the Centre an macarthur glen were the only tree lights sadly.livi is just suburbia like glenrothes an other "new towns" but the main shopping area is huge now. Sorry for waffling
That is just enough snow. Which ever drone you are using did very well with the low light. Well done.
Mini 3pro there was just enough light from the ground to help it.
Nice yin mate Can't wait to get out with my drones 👍
Be great to get back out.
stunning
Very Christmasy looking good with the snow nice flight 👍
a bit snow makes everything look good , nice night flight 🙂☃
cheers, aye snows a good blank canvas, makes everything else show
My late father was in Korea with the King's Own Scottish Borderers.
Mine was with the Black Watch
I stayed a couple of times at Drip Camp in the 1970s. The camp had old Nissen huts which , by today's standards would look quite primitive . Each hut had a single coal fired stove heater with a chimney pipe going up through the curved roof. We were young and quite immune to the conditions there. Great memories. Thanks for the views.
I spent quite a few weekends there, yes the old huts were updated slightly for heating but not much else.
Nice drone vid and good editing. Subbed.
many thanks
