Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink (or dye) onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact. This causes the ink to wet the su...

Spokey Dokey from the great Weeping Harp 🔥
Thanks for that video, I'm considering this for mine. There aren't a lot of options out there for a single bag, for $400 + with the mounting kit, it's a bit of $ but hopefully worth it. Let us know how it is if after a bit of use.
Ok it's been 3 months since I've had this, so here are some thoughts. The bag is very well built and will probably last as long as the bike does. TONS of space inside, currently packed in I have a small fold up chair, tire patch kit, air compressor, camp axe, a foldup hand saw, extra gloves, motorcycle cover, pack of hygiene wipes, and roll up tool kit. Still lots of space with all that stuff in there, to stash dirty clothes or whatever. I plan to use it mostly for camping/longer trips. The molle webbing on the sides of the bag are great and I have two additional pouches attached to them. The quick release attachment is nice, it's on/off in 3 seconds. I've taken it on a few longer trips now (the longest of which was a 750mi run) and it held up great! Having the Triumph branding was important to me, I'm trying to use as much OEM stuff as possible on my bike.
@@Magicks Thanks I appreciate the detailed answer. I'll order one. I also have a Vstrom 1050 set up for touring, Russell seat, hard luggage, large windshield etc, but I'm considering taking the Scrambler on my annual summer trip, 14 days or so, @ 4,000 miles. I installed a 28 L hard top case, pulled the pillion and put on a luggage rack, with this pannier and Triumph's 30 L dry bag, I can easily pack for a couple weeks.
Milwaukee's a good destination for a day trip. Used to live there. On a nice day it's fun to get a coffee at the Colectivo on the lakefront and hang out outside, great people-watching and bike-watching. Great roads not too far out of the city proper, either.
Hell yeah it is! That was such a fun ride I'm def gonna have to make some more trips up there next year. Too many straight roads in Illinois it gets SO boring.
the original exhaust burns, I have burned myself twice since July, is this model less hot?
In the 4 months I've had it installed, the only time I notice it getting hot is on hot days (85F +) when I'm stopped, and even then I usually still have my leg up against it.
@@Magicks thank you for your feedback, I will see if I can find it in Europe. because two second degree burns are enough for me :-)
EPIC SCENERY, AWESOME RIDE!!
thanks bro!
i'm from belgium and i think to get one to go to work and back, but still looking at video's like yours 👍(it's closer to a 125)
What day of the week was this? It seems like North Side traffic always sucks except for way early Sunday mornings. South Side is way more open.
This was a Tuesday afternoon in August! Yeah bro, I try to stay south of Lake st. cuz traffic just gets crazy north of there. Lots of decent rides heading south though, like you can just take Archer Ave/Ogden out to the surburbs and do the Fox River Run.
@@Magicks Crazy that's a weekday! Definitely have to get out to the south side more while the weather is still cooperating.
@@TonyN491 yeah bro I got lucky that day good weather and not much traffic, what more can you ask for? Hit me up if you make it out this way!
they have come so far :’)
That thing sounds sooooo good.
hell yeah! should I decat her though?
Clicked for the Triumph, stayed for the Triumph and cowboy bebop music
Nice Scrambler!!
thanks!
I have 2007 Bonneville also live in Chicago too.
very nice! let's go for a ride some time!
Sounds and looks fantastic.

Nice one.

That's a long day on a Bonnie. Nice video.
you can say that again! and I loved every second of it!
Good video sir 🎉
thank you 🙏
scrambler 900 sound is beautiful.
There isn't a whole lot that I don't like about the bike! My biggest gripe is the size of the tank (3.17 gal) which I think coulda been .5-1 gallon larger, which isn't even really an issue unless I'm going 80+ and then she just guzzles gas. Other than that she is literally perfect for me!
@@Magicks I have a Himalayan 450, new one. It has a 17 L tank😌. Awesome for long rides
@@HardBoiled3 nice! That's one of the bikes I went to go look at when I bought mine! I ended up getting the scrambler 900 because I wasn't sure how the Himalayan would handle the highway at 80mph+ I think the scrambler 900 is probably better suited for me since I live in an urban area anyway. Still considering a Himalayan for one of my next bikes though!
@@Magicks himmi can go 150 Kmph that's around 95 miles per hour. I have taken it to 100Kmph that is around 62miles per hour. Felt some vibrations there. Since you ride mainly in urban area, scrambler 900 is awesome for you. Anyway I think 900 can handle 80 mph better than himmi.
@@HardBoiled3 do you think it could reach 160kph? not that I ride at that speed very often, I'm just curious!
😢😢😮
Man, I really wanted to watch this, but that harmonica screeching the entire time wouldn’t allow me to
that's unfortunate! guessing you're not a fan of cowboy bebop, also unfortunate!
Love the yellow/black style !
thanks!
No band ever swung like this one.
Nice vid, just bought one of these (I enjoyed the music)
Good awareness at 6:37 stay safe 😅
Very interested to hear how yours is working out, mine worked perfectly for 2 days and now the screen is all glitched out or is just blank. Thinking I might have gotten a defective one and will probably have to send it back to them :(
just to give an update on the situation. Two days ago my device started displaying "error d7" and according to the website "it is likely a hardware issue with the connection of the LCD ribbon cable and your device will need replacing." I emailed support and sent a picture of the error code and they promptly gave me instructions on sending it back to them. Once I get the new device I will probably do another video with my experiences so far.
@@Magicks That's unfortunate, I actually saw a short recently where someone had a similar appearing issue with the device. Hopefully the replacement is without issues. How long did it take you to receive the device after you purchased in the US?
@@RideBound they were very apologetic about it and the two days it worked I was very impressed with it, so I'm willing to give them the chance to make it right. It wasn't currently in stock and I had to pre-order when I placed my order on 7/2 and it arrived 8/5. When I ordered, it specifically stated the next batch of devices wouldn't ship until August.
I love what you're doing with this bike. I just put on some bark busters as well, but mine don't attach from the bar end. They're way bigger and ugly. Where did you find yours? I like them a lot more than mine...
Thanks! I think she's finally approaching her final form and I'm super happy with the aesthetics! I got the barkbusters off revzilla www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/barkbusters-jet-handguards?sku_id=970690 And if you're interested, Behr Premium Spray Paint Blazing Bonfire P250-7 is a pretty darn close match to Cosmic Yellow. Bought a can at the local home depot.
Cool video but what's with that stupid music?
🤣 its from cowboy bebop.
U no no jbbbr1ú
Awesome Video! Picked up a Scrambler 1200 for basilcly the same reasons. 6000 kilometers in one month on it are basilcly proof to everything you talked about.😅
Hell yeah! Triumph for sure did scramblers right! Ride safe bro!
What about the ducati scrambler?
That's one of the scramblers I was looking at when considering which one to buy. Seems like a great bike and saw some great reviews on it but two things I don't like. I think they actually fixed it but the exhaust pipe on the older models went underneath the frame of the bike which doesn't make too much sense if you want to take it off-road, the newer model looks like they run the pipe through the frame so that's no longer a problem. I also wanted something with a more vintage look, while the Ducati looks great it definitely looks very modern. The Triumph Scrambler looks like it's straight out of the 60s/70s. So unless you prefer vintage styling, the Ducati might be right up your alley.
@@Magicks yeah the look they are going for is probably the biggest difference
Not forgetting service costs on scrambler expensive belt changes
I had a Street Twin. I enjoyed the ride. Even contemplated putting knobby tires on it. Just for fun. The 1200 is big. The 900 is a nice bike. Enjoy your ride. One day id like to try a scrambler on a dirt or gravel road. The Street Twin not so much. maybe with knobbies. As standard. It wasn't easy. Never dropped it though. It was light enough I could keep it upright. I looked at a Tiger. Ended up with a GS. It's just another street bike which can do a bit of dirt. I've dropped it. Its !@#$%^ heavy.
can't go wrong with a GS! (or a tiger for that matter) if you get the chance, try the scrambler 900 on dirt in off-road mode. turns off the traction control and abs so you can lock/spin the rear tire. so much fun!
Cowboy Bebop vibes!
haha hell yeah, good ear!
Nice bike. My scrambler is a Yamaha SCR950, probably the most authentic as it is basically a Bolt with taller suspension. No good off road, though. Interesting video.
those Yamaha's are so cool looking! LOVE the vintage aesthetic
@@Magicks It looks like it's stepped out of the '70s. It's like my old XT500 with a Harley engine shoehorned into it.
@@1990-t1j hell yeah! I love new bikes that look like old bikes!
Great video, that Triumph Scrambler 900 is a beautiful thing. The best colour on yours, too!
thanks! I love it so much
YES YES YES and YES!!!! Great video! I took mine to an offroad riding class on Sunday. Bitch can scramble!
Thanks bro! That sounds like FUN! How'd you like it? I'm still trying to build confidence off road so I've just been taking it nice and slow. Starting to get pretty good with locking/spinning my rear tire but I can't quite do those maneuvers while turning yet. Practice makes perfect!
looks good.
I'm looking at getting one of these. Interested to hear what you think after you've used it for a bit.
Ok it's been 3 months since I've had this, so here are some thoughts. The bag is very well built and will probably last as long as the bike does. Kudos to Magicks and the person filming. Brilliant job on "how to" - thank you so much. Now I can go and fit my Vance & Hines exhaust :)
shout out to my gf for filming she's the best! Glad you found this video helpful, enjoy the growl of your new pipe!
BTW, I'm in Portland, OR. Any time you want to come out and hit these roads, you've got a place to stay and a guide!
right on! I appreciate that and I might just have to take you up on that some day!
Hey man. This is a fantastic video, all around. Thank you for making it, and thanks for the shout-out. I went off motocamping this weekend and had a low-speed crash on gravel. Minimal damage to the new bike. My Tech Air 5 airbag vest deployed! For whatever reason, I got up, dusted myself off, freaked out for exactly 15 seconds, then laughed my ass off, grunted the bike back onto its wheels, climbed back on and rode away (slowly). Lessons learned: I don't know how to ride in gravel. The air bag works. I can lift my bike no problem. And, fuck it, it's just a bike. All that matters is that we live another day.
Hell yeah brother! That sounds like fun, minus the crash! Minimal damage just adds character anyway, gives you a story to tell! I don't have a TON of experience off pavement but my biggest tip is to stand, not sit. I have a dirt parking lot across from my apartment that I will sometimes do laps in, just for the purpose of building confidence off pavement.
I did mine with headers on... poke a spanner behind the rad, turn the bolt until the spanner lines up and drops on the nut, undo.. upon refitting, use the ring end to hold the nut and get a tread on, then switch to open end so you dont get the spanner stuck.. i just used regular bahco spanners, nothing fancy or modified..
I'll give that a shot next time I have to get at them!
Hi! What was the weight of the box with Dresser Bar Kit?
8.40 LBS But I also ordered the CNC machined fork protectors, and a tshirt.
Do you have the part number for the fly screen? Currently can’t find it listed here in the U.K. in yellow.
The retailer had to special order the cosmic yellow one. Triumph Color Coordinated Short Windscreen - A9708381 Triumph Street Scrambler 900 Flyscreen Mounting Kit - A9708610
nice color and upgrades. i have same 2024 in khaki green.
hell yeah! such a fun bike!
Man, you talk the same kind of shit as my father does. You guys got the spirit! I'm just another hooligan on a sports bike 🏍
lol givin off that old man energy 😅 hey man nothing wrong with sports bikes, whatever makes you happy!
Enjoy watching what your doing to the bike How are you finding it so far
Thanks! I Absolutely LOVE it! I've had my eye on it for a few years now and I think it's quite literally my dream bike. My first bike was a '75 CL360, I love the look of vintage bikes and I love the high pipe on scramblers. This gets me the best of everything I want, vintage look with modern tech AND it's a Triumph! Everyone rides better on a Triumph. I tried sitting on the 1200 and it just felt a little bit too big for me (I'm 5'8" 150 lbs) and when I sat on the 900 it just felt right, the perfect size for me. Plenty of acceleration, tons of torque, top end isn't the greatest but I did hit 100mph+ Very nimble, great suspension, and the Cosmic Yellow paint looks amazing. Tons of customization options. If you're considering a Triumph, just do it.
BGM of cowboy bebop...❤
