As a Monaco solution, personally I think they should classify it as an exhibition race with just a single Monaco spec tyre for use all weekend, and that tyre is the equivalent of an ultra soft designed to only last 30 laps max. They don't need to mandate tyre compounds or anything gimmicky like joker laps, just give them a single tyre that forces 2 stops

Change the cars. Just for Monte Carlo use upgraded (faster) F2 cars. They are slimmer, shorter, nimble and they role on smaller wheels/tires. Only then we will see some OVERTAKES!!! Yeah!!

The yellow is on the transponder. I’ve known about this since I started watching F1 so I must have read it somewhere (there is a double secret manual, but I don’t remember where it is). The transponder sends the GPS info back to the teams’ pit wall and can be viewed on one of the channels on F1 TV (each of the drivers is represented as an appropriately colored dot on the grid map and can be seen moving around the track in real time).

One Monaco solution I heard this week was to possibly have a Joker lap - so 3 times per race, each car would have to take a slightly different route, maybe around the roundabout just before the tunnel. This could be used tactically at different times throughout the race, to give drivers clear air and using up a joker.
