I agree the combo in NTE looking good so far. WuWa, Genshin all are toxic, not only to NTE but for any competitors. They still sht on ToF for some reason, i guess they can't have a nice sleep without looking down on something, pathetic fandoms. Reason why i hate them and stopped playing lol

Mostly they never get to point where they upgrade characters enough to deal damage as a first thing, second is its super simple you dont have charge attacks there is no real need in perfect dodges, no combat in air, and they are like wow all i need to click is 3 bottons and switch, sometimes even less if they want to, so when they out of bottons to smash they feel like there is nothing more to click, most of them also didnt get ssr weapons that gives special skill to character, on top of that game is ping dependant since most of them didnt played it on CN there was an issue with responding when clicking bottons, so its slows down fight speed overall, as well as making some bugs where its looks less smooth or not hitting target or messing up icons and other things, so basicly needs to test it on global to see it more clearly, but devs for shure can add more to that since they told that they will work for another year over the game

@zera2531 yeah not having air combo felt like a step down from tower of fantasy, they could give them air combo and only plunge on hold attack mid air just like ToF did, and the idea of charge attack is great as well since ToF has those and even branching combos. They really felt like dumbing down the combat because some people are just too friggin casul.

Combat was definitely not the main focus of this cbt, no dev would leave something so janky and say "yeah its good"

@@Adam-bc1un Characters' combat moves are really extremely limited and meh. Thing is, you can't cancel / combine into combos practically anything. If you start a move, attack - you are locked in the animation, if you want to jump, you have to wait until whole animation ends. Special attacks - make you locked in the animation for it's whole duration as well, you can't swap to other character to combine those attacks or anything. This, plus - it's super simplistic and generic: left click - normal attack string, skill with cooldown and ultimate, that's all, not even heavy attack. In other games: normal attacks, skill, ultimate - are more just basis to cook different move sets, going even wildly far from standard moves. So in other games you have both: more 'buttons' as well as way more interesting move sets, like in WuWa - it's crazy how complex kits they have, something like 'skill attack' can work in completely different way for one character than for the other. Even in Genshin you have at least simple combos, animation cancels and some characters have more creative moves too. Not mentioning elemental reactions. NTE has pretty simple system of reactions and I think - in general concept - a really good and interesting one, but it should be combined with complex action gameplay similar to WuWa and not something so extremely simplistic. Good but simple + super simplistic = bad. NTE's system of combat moves don't need polish, but complete overhaul, or it will be braindead super casual combat gameplay - at best.

The game doesn't teach you at the beginning which may be one of reasons. This feedback has been sent to devs It was CN only so many just played and went with the flow without understanding. I don't think this game will focus on combat! Don't take me wrong there will be good combat! Not everybody will like it. Of course, many big CC have big audiences and they put first-day reactions for hype videos. RUclips will promote these videos and many people will take their opinion. Because who cares about small channels? Combat has unique mechanics and for me it's amazing. I can see there will be many combos and team compositions. Plus this was just a DEMO game. Sadly people already judge unfinished game and compare them to ZZZ, WW, or Genshin.

yeah, we got mail with cash and other stuff, so investing in coffee shops was easier. Although I agree devs should nerf income. On the last day I could get 5m per day :D

Yeah, makes me think that it was on purpose since ToF is MMO with customizable character. Performance is probably the priority
