These engines look good out of the box and cheap for what they are but just to much stuffing about to get them going right I have given up on mine it is a BOOK END or PAPER WEIGHT . And yes I realize if this was made in Japan or Europe it would be 5 to 6 times the price . All the best to you all

GAZ-71 is a tracked vehicle, in a boat chassis, with a gearbox from a truck (GAZ-66). It was made for all-terrain, snow and swamp. This engine with an alternator could power a waterjet engine, and a servo for direction. Hardest part to do will be the tracks maybe a big mold with rubber poured inside or epoxy if not metal.

Nah put it in a tank, that would be beast Running a really high torque ratio and driving the tank around while the engine is near idle would be pretty cool, since the sound would never change

You can get these at Stirling Kit I dont think it would be good for a airplane too heavy water cooled not enough power and I have had a lot of troubles withm mine .

The framer ate is so close to sync with the engine rpm that the con rod just looks like it's bouncing. Now you should try a small tractor pull with it.

Very impressive .... apart from the camera work. I nearly stopped watching. Raced through the assembly with shakey I'm and out movement and didn't see allow us to see what was happening nor salivate over the engineering.
