why don't you completely remove back seats?
Kids
Can anyone tell me if it is safe to drive with the flashing lights ?
Should be safe to drive. You just will not be able to engage 4 wheel drive when it’s flashing. In my case if you stop the vehicle and start again it would release it for another 30 miles or so.
@MonteroVentures thanks a lot
3.8l opens at 82 and 3.5l 78 degrees.
Is this for a 2001 I'm having problems with my car over heating replaced cap some time the heat works and then stops plus using a lot of water didn't pay a lot for it but it a good car with simple problems please help me
Why did you made the video so freakin fast.....i got nausea now ooooa
No clue which Montero gen this is ...installation started halfway once panels were removed...no guidance on how to remove the panels or replace panels...what's the point of this video exactly?
Why TF are you saying delete??
Stop smacking your damn lips!!
I have a 2000 model 3L. Does I have to take the engine out if I have to replace this same part but on the driver side ?
@@TheHelado36 on, but I heard it’s a pain to remove because of the integrated sensor.
If you were in Australia I would buy one from you 🤣
You can buy mine in 8 months ;)
Mate make them and sell them 😂 I’ll buy
Great video thank you. Are your rims stock or aftermarket? If aftermarket what are they? Thank you!
@@mjnforth rims are Toyota 4Runner wheels actually.
Really? And they just bolt right on? Can you send me a link or provide me any way to search for them? Thanks again

I have the Shortie version and you got me thinking..............I cant unsee it now, damn
Have been wanting a Pajero for awhile now. I am in Washington State. Brother-in-law found a 2003 Pajero Fieldsmaster Diesel Intercooling 2800 Automatic Red body color, with silver bumpers., close to our retirement house in the Philippines. 1st thing they did was take to a shop and had front end inspected and replaced shocks, brakes, inner outer bearing. Replaced all oils, filters, cleaned turbo, I found out from buyer maintenance was not done in awhile. Had radiator leak fixed that found out no thermostat ( meaning used water ). Fixed radiator , flush out , put coolant back in, replaced thermostat. Body in great shape, need to repaint from and rear bumpers. Most important is transmission works, A/C works, engine works.
@@thomasrichardson7865 nice. It’s going to be a great rig to drive especially after all that maintenance.
Once you do this you need to protect the surface to prevent UV degradation. The easiest / cheapest way is UV resistant clear lacquer. This will slow the degradation down.
@@stewartdoyle3719 good to know. Thank you.
Thanks for the video. How long did it last?
@@VishalPatel-ur5zj Maybe 2-3 months.
Do you apply anything to body of car for scratches
@@edenbul6140 No, I don’t.
Did you removed compartment that you made for camp sleep bed
@@edenbul6140 No, didn’t need to
Great video! We are planning to do Section 3 N to S on Friday in our van. The washouts look pretty off camber. Anything else to worry about?
Nice. You will have a great time. Lot more camp sites on the south side. Hopefully the van is not too top heavy, off camber sections may get your heart rate up a little. Helps to have a spotter.
Hello, I have a question, what is the difference between 4630a011 and 4630a012? Do they both work well or do I have to choose the right one? My car has 4630a011
Thank you for the idea 💡
its like trying to learn from the flash
Hey! Could you share what cables for the Montero harness are what? Mine 2003 Limited, came without the radio and harness the cables were all loose from previous owner, and I’m looking into setting up a care play like yours. Only downside is that I don’t have diagrams where I can identify the cables in the Montero. And I don’t know how to match the cables from the CarPlay with the ones in the truck 😢 Thank you!
@@be8965 oh man. That’s a tough one. This maybe helpful: www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Mitsubishi-Wiring.asp
If you have a connector then you will just need to buy a harness ( see in video description) If the connectors were cut that’s much more difficult. Hopefully the link above will help identify some of the wires. The Harness would still be helpful because you would be connecting only the wires needed (the ones in the harness) after you identify them. Good luck. Hope you make it work.
@@MonteroVentures yeah conector was cut, I'll check the link anyways, thank you !
Looked like a great time
Seems ideal, I will mock something similar, thanks for the inspiration. I wonder about any of the metal reacting against contact points with one another (mount - flange - rim) once it has moisture and some time. Any thoughts?
I don’t see that as being an issue but Time will show. I have 4Rnner wheels so original wheels will require a different size flange.
The light output is plenty and a nice install!
Nice little addition. I like it.
This was super super detailed and incredibly helpful to me. I have been wanting to make a table but something prefabbed like this looks so incredibly good on your Montero.
@@BrianLopez4 That’s great. Glad it was helpful.
No one cares what speaker you bought… show how you took the paneling off
Nice Setup! Im thinking on change the wheels of my Montero and lift it. What is the offset of your wheels? I think the offset of the original wheels is too inward…
@@dmconsultoria1 Thanks. Those are Toyota 4Runner wheels with +15 offset
Great video! Just a question. To let air pockets out I need turn heater at hot position. But the fun should be at max speed as well or need to be off but just heater on to hot position without blowing any air? Thanks
@@bernardopriolo8383 Use the radiator funnel. Turn the heater on to full blast. Rev the engine to 2500 RPM for about 10 seconds a few times. That should help the air bubbles escape.
❤
How do u check if the fan clutch is bad? I have mine free spin longer after engine off. I have the gen 3 as well but the 3.8L it shoud be the same removal method
Yes, should be the same removal process . The free spin test didn’t really work for me as you saw in a bunch of videos. In my case it was a process of elimination. We made sure the thermostat was working fine (I replaced it with the OEM) in the pot of boiled water, made sure coolant levels were sufficient. Clutch was the next obvious thing left. I also didn’t hear it spinning before so it was probably just free spinning for a while almost causing an overheating incident. Good luck.
To which cable did you connect the white and blue cable, which is the turn-on? I have the same car and a Chinese radio with Android and I have no sound... I don't know where to connect the blue and white cable that comes from the adapter! :(( and how do I connect the rca?
You’ll need to splice it with the corresponding wire on your stereo. All wires on my stereo were labeled so I matched them up to the harness. If your is not labeled, see if you can find a pdf manual online. Good luck.
@@isvisvisv By the stereo, do you mean the android radio that I am installing? because the blue and white cable is the one that comes from inside the car and I suppose that goes to the stereo... then the part of the white and blue cable that comes from the din adapter that you bought is left in the air because I don't know why. part of the radio goes or what cable it is connected to, I tried to connect it to the blue antenna cable and the speaker makes a super loud sound, I'm too lost
Wish you could have been more detailed as to how to remove those panels and trims, rather than just speed through the process.
Hello, I appreciate your video, it is very useful but I have two questions left to resolve. Before removing the accumulator, do you also press the pedal 40 times to release the pressure? and the second question is if you know if this same procedure can be carried out to change the accumulator of the new OEM mitsubishi 4630a012 model, I thank you for your time, greetings from Spain
Hello. Thanks. No need to pump before removing just make sure the ignition is off. It builds pressure when the ignition is on. I think the procedure is the same for the newer accumulator but you may want to confirm with another source. Hope that helps.
Hi asking as iv done as you said bit abs alarm comes on. Know why by any chance.
@@godsstrongestsiolderyou probably have something else going on with the ABS. The symptom for the failing break booster is chirping noice. No alarms.
@@MonteroVentures would air in the lines do alarm problems. And seems my pump is going to fill accumilayer for ten seconds then cuts of and start again and again. . Not filling i think and air in it . I bleed tommorow and see. If air in lines gets the abs to alarm.
That's a great idea! We don't sell them in Russia. I'll have to make one myself.
nice job
Good video! I did that work last week with the same belt.. is the best belt for this car. Btw you dont need to remove the fan to change the belt. But is ok for the viewers 👍
hello, do you have spacers on your front wheels?

Have you considered trimming or removing the rear bumper? The clearance is so bad back there. I am about to buy a 2006 from a family member, 40k miles, barely driven, never off-road. I am looking for inspiration for modifications. I like your front bumper, wheels and tires.
I haven’t. Hasn’t been an issue for me yet. Thanks.
Thanks for the review I am looking at these lights. Is that other cover solid black (not transparent)? My state requires off-road lights to be covered up
