how?
I got lucky with a glitch when the game came out.
Hey thanks for the review. What platform are you playing this on? Maybe some of these issues are only on the version you played...
I played the PS5 version.
No, I'm not turning it up
Honestly might be a good idea 😂
😂
Lol you're parappa
I love parappa! Ha

Great game
it still has screen tearing on ps5
Yup! It stinks. Shame too.
Cool
Thanks megapumped! 💪😤
those animations sure are animated!
Wow. She. Did. That. Gritty
Yours stream died
I just ended it. I got tired. Ha. Probably going to finish it today and then I'll start Before the Storm Remastered. 🦋
It's nice there are some people who have and played the game. It's pretty sad this game doesn't get much love and attention upon its release.
Agreed. I love games like this and was super surprised this one was even made. Had a lot of fun with it.
@@naysgameopinions I especially loved the character interactions; it was a nice touch with giving the game its own distinctive feature.
@@SmashupMashups Yes! I'm surprised that more games (kart racers especially) don't do stuff like that more often. Really cool and makes the game more unique.
@@naysgameopinions And just the return of the _Shrek_ stand-in voices, Michael Gough as Shrek; Dean Edwards as Donkey; Holly Fields as Princess Fiona, was quite nice. Especially how they interact with Puss in Boots, voiced by Eric Bauza, and Lord Farquaad, voiced by Poitr Michael. Now, Randall Duk Kim reprising his role as Oogway was a surprise, making him the only voice actor to reprise a character from the movies whereas every other character has a stand-in voice.
@@SmashupMashups Woah! Nice. I never took note of who was actually voice acting so that's nice to hear and definitely makes it feel that much more authentic, especially with Oogway.
I’m playing with my 7-year-old, and she really likes it. But, we’re on like level 35 and haven’t gotten the Panda yet. I don’t get it! I started my own profile, because I don’t feel like we’re going to get it for some odd reason. We have followed the story completely. We have had no issues with the game either? It’s so weird. I’ve tried to look up when the panda is supposed to be introduced, but it never says.
Yeah. It's pretty weird. So there's the original version of the game and then there's the "Panda Edition" which basically adds DLC-like panda "missions". You have to make it to the very end of the base game tasks and then the panda stuff will start. Just keep doing the tasks and level up and more stuff will unlock.
@@naysgameopinions Thanks. We definitely have the panda edition! We got all the new dogs and cats. And there is a locked photo on the wall of the panda we don’t have yet! It’s just super frustrating. But, I just keep pushing on. Lol
@@michiganmama562Yeah I now remember being in the same situation. Becuase it clearly ends and I was like wait...where are the pandas! And I just kept doing the tasks and you'll get the panda story eventually then after those missions it'll say that all of the tasks have been completed like at 10:25 in the video.
3.5 out of 10 for this game is quite an injustice. You are basically saying its on the level of The day before. Dont know wny many seem to hate on the game when it does so many things right than wrong especially for a new ip. They could build upon given the opportunity. At minimum imo its a 7 out of 10. 3.5 out of 10 is pretty wild and aligns with a game that is unplayable. Anyway good luck with your channel. I mean that.
Well, the way that I review, I take the entire review scale into consideration. A lot of reviews nowadays, everything is a 7 or 8 when that's simply not the case. Especially when compared to each other. I could play a game that is a 1 out of 10 and still have fun with it. If a game is practically unplayable, then i would probably rate it lower because I think thats an injustice to push out a game that people pay for and it doesnt work. Right off the bat, the way I look at it is that a 5/10 is right in the middle. And the experience I received from this game is lesser. So then I'm working on that 1-5. Mix that in with the bad story, dialogue delivery, character interactions, boring world, poorly designed missions, etc...it definitely knocks it down. Good looking environment and cool powers doesn't save this game for me. Personally, I think there is more wrong than right here with this game, but to each their own. That's why there are reviews and every review is different. Appreciate your time and comment.
The powers of controlling moths in Broken Porcelain is a direct reference to Dario Argento's Phenomena (my favourite movie of his), which of course was a giant influence of the very first Clock Tower game, to the point I consider it an unofficial adaptation of Phenomena. It's good the nods to this film have carried over the entire séries, up to Remothered.
Nice! Definitely need to check it out then. I was aware of what influenced the Remothered series but never thought to look into what influenced the influences that could have bled through to these games. 🤔
@@naysgameopinions Dario Argento is one of my favourite horror director ever and Clock Tower being initially an hommage to his work (mostly Phenomena but with references to Suspiria as well) is what got me into this series. I would definitely recommand to check it out indeed, and on the giallo genre in général (from Mario Bava, Dario Argento, Lucie Fulci, etc). I like to consider the Clock Tower (Haunting Ground included) and Remothered series as the video game legacy of this genre.
@shibitoobscura3348 oooooh! I've definitely seen Phenomena before. Going to go diving into some movies now. Thanks for the recommendation. And Haunting Ground is one of my favorites!
@@naysgameopinions Great! Yes, it's one of my favourite too (I still have a soft spot for Rule of Rose, my all-time favourite PS2 horror game, but Haunting Ground was a blast, and a major improvement from Clock Tower 3)
Visuals 10/10, sound 8/10, gameplay 2/10. Sad. I wish they stayed with alpha demo textures and enemies/mobs. Nice review.
Didn't mind the gameplay overall, but I definitely wouldn't mind if there was another layer to it to add some flavor. Thanks!
Been looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this one. I need to give it a proper chance eventually
It's definitely bizarre, but sort of mellows out...and gets bizarre again. It's like it was produced by two different teams and then stitched together.
I agree with pretty much this whole video. I however am enjoying it more than you did But you're not wrong, the story isn't that engrossing, voice acting can be decent to terrible and the animations and cutscenes are just cringy with how bad they are I also feel like the controls aren't even as polished as the last three games even though this is running off of the same engine and control scheme mostly Parkour seems janky, combat isn't very fun and while I get they wanted you to focus more on stealth, make the combat challenging in a way where I prefer not to engage with it if possible. Don't just make it suck Mapping the assassination button to the same as your light attack button is terrible because the context for an assassination sometimes gets finicky and quickly disappears and then you end up striking your target and alerting everybody in view. But man, I love this setting, I think this city is awesome it feels fun to explore and kind of exist in. Collecting things and getting into trouble feels more enticing to me than it has since the earlier games in the franchise. I think I would give this one like a 6.5 if I was trying to rank it without too much bias. But I'm enjoying it as if it were more of a 7.5 lol
Nice breakdown! I agree with your points. I hope Shadows is a lot better!
I’m amazed this game is charging a price. I like the glossy aesthetic, but I’m surprised it didn’t lean more into the battle pass/fortnite model. Can’t help but feel like this is a poor Splatoon copy.
Damn no comments for a video this good and only 185 views... WHAT. Really good video keep it up
Wow. Thanks. That really means a lot.
How do you unlock the panda?
You have to keep playing through the story. Takes longer than you would think.
@@naysgameopinionswhat level do you have to be to get the Panda
@christenspecht I honestly don't remember. Level 35 I believe is when the main story stops and if you keep playing and completing goals, you'll eventually unlock them. I think level 54 is the last level so somewhere between them.
I need disaster report 5 !
Same! 😫
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video!
Thanks!
Is this that switch game? Ive passed this over a bunch of times and will now finally pick it up because of this review..subbed I like your chilled out delivery 👍👍
Thanks! I appreciate it. It's available on Switch, but I played it on PS5.
This game is so beautiful thank you for your review I’m so gonna play this game 💗💗💗
It really is! Hope you enjoy it. It's so good!
nice
I thought he was doing the juvi slide
I've always been interested in this series because of the title, but I'm not sure that it's for me
It is kind of..."different". I felt the same way and just sort of went for it and had an enjoyable time. The second game was so bad that the third game is basically canceled. There's some concept art and the main plot of the story for the third one is out there. There was also a 2D Remothered game that was canceled in 2012. After I finished the second game, I looked into the history of the games and it's actually pretty interesting. "Remothered" has different words in it like mother, moth, and red that all sort of deal with the story. I thought that was neat.
Even Megumi's dog hates bro. 😂
Bamtang and Gamemill Entertainment should've given it crossplay. The online is dead. At least KartRider: Drift and Disney Speedstorm have crossplay. They also get dlc every 2-3 months. Gamemill and Bamtang need to take lessons from Gameloft and Nexon. Since Bamtang Games did 3 Nickelodeon Kart Racing games, I can see them doing the same for Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing.
100% agree. This one could've been something that lasted for a while if they put a bit more care into it.
I Absolutely Love this game so much! and I'm disappointed that not a lot of people know this game exists!
Yes! It's so good! I really hope we get a sequel some day.
thanks for the review
No problem! Thanks for watching!
SMURF CAT IS THAT YOU

Thanks robot. 🤖
Great review.
Thank you!
3:56 I agree that combat doesn't really get to shine until you're playing as Red in the warehouse, and there he doesn't have the corner gun (although he has aggressive abilities anyways), but I guess it's better in the end wanting more of something than getting tired of it
Couldn't have said it better myself.
Looks like a lot of fun!
Loved this game. Yet my series S crashes constantly to home. I luckily missed out on some of the other major bugs. The crashes just break my immersion trance.
Geeeez. Yeah that's annoying. Remedy games usually have a bunch of stuff like that. I remember Control having a lot too. I was going to post some of the bugs I had as shorts but accidently deleted all my Alan Wake 2 footage. 🫠 Oh well.
Alan Wake 2 is a larger, more ambitious, and deeper sequel to the foundation laid by Alan Wake 1. The narrative has greater depth, involving a more extensive cast of characters. The seamless integration of gameplay, music, and live-action film creates a beautifully intertwined and coherent whole. Survival horror suits the game better than the horror action of the first installment. Unfortunately, the shift to survival horror has taken a few steps back in terms of gameplay. In Alan Wake, the world felt like a vast, interconnected area that could exist as a genuine environment beyond a game setting. In Alan Wake 2, the areas seem more like distinct "levels" with a straightforward path from A to B, and the regions appear detached from one another. Additionally, I miss how in Alan Wake 1, the sky would turn black and stormy before the appearance of enemies, and the player would engage not only with human adversaries but also with animated machines or objects.
100% agree. Well said. Alan Wake 1 was supposed to be open-world before they scaled it back and if you go into a free camera mode, you can see how everything is actually connected. I mention something similar in my "The Chant" review because I had that same feeling you are describing when I was playing that. The world just feels better if everything is connected in that way. It is a bummer that this game isn't designed like that, but I don't think it hinders it in any way. Maybe one day, one of their games will be more open like that. I also like the sky turning black and fighting off objects. Definitely helped the environmental storytelling and the chaos and threat you were up against. Added variety and it's an easy way to add some puzzles and invasive situations in your path. Again...not a thing I missed completely, but would've been fully welcomed. I guess moving to survival horror just didn't really call for these things design wise since it's more slow paced and focused on thrills in a different way. The story is also more intimate and personal as well so making only living enemies may have been a choice for that reason.

Personally this game holds a special place in my heart, it’s my top on all games ever, even though it’s the smallest I played. It just captures my imagination and peace, best game I have ever experienced to be honest.
I can definitely see this game doing that. I can see it being very calming and zen-like.
Honestly this game is really really special to me, and I feel like I can’t agree with this review. (Or it’s just that Spirit of the north is special and great to me, and also I give this game a 10/10)
To each their own. Unfortunately, I had a lot of silly glitches that kind of worsened my experience with the game and it didn't really seem anything over average for me with mundane puzzles and a lot of similar environments and atmosphere. Did you see there's going to be a second one? I'm looking forward to seeing what all is new in that one.
Yes I know there’s a second one on it’s way but it might me a long way until it comes out
@@naysgameopinionsthey making a second one? Nooo waaaay!
@@Fariha_m yeah! It just got announced a little while ago.
@@naysgameopinions dammm cannot wait! got something to look forward to now :)
That happend to me to
So weird!
It’s pay to win well close to it
Yeah. You can pay for tokens/coins to buy boxes with charcter/crew member shards in them. The shards are random, though, so you may not pull the characters you want. The value in that is so small though it may as well not even be in the game. That's why I question it. When I race with others that are at a higher level than me, I tend to win, and the shards only level you up a little bit that you can't even see a difference any way.
I felt the same way. I also find it odd that it’s a game aimed at children, and yet Mickey Mouse drinks energy drinks for energy. Not something I would encourage young children to do 🤔
