You're very brave to limit yourself to ten minutes while filming yourself. Hats off to you. I just found your channel. Would you say challenging yourself like this has paid off as far as improvement goes? I often way overthink stuff, but some of my best work is when I stop trying so hard and let it just flow. Time limits sound like a good exercise. I guess it comes down to trusting the process AND yourself. :)

Is there any oil good for acrylic brushes? To keep them in good condition

I tried all paints.. I can say watercolor is the best.. it's the hardest but I see it as a discipline..you gotta plan ahead and be dedicated because watercolor is unforgiving.. but once you know the rules, it will reward you for all your hardwork.. it's like training a cat

As a previous professional photographer, did you ask permission to duplicate the photographers photo as i am sure it is copyrighted? It old be like me taking a photo of your watercolor painting and calling it my creation. We all need to respect art medians and photography is a form of art.

Here's the thing about talking and painting at the same time. Most people can't do it. I can, I just can't filter what comes out of my mouth.

For the record: The underside of the wings is blue. Great Blue Herons look blue when flying over.

Im not an artist, but that background looks like it would work with some evergreen trees with snow on the ground. With a couple pulling a tree on a sled.

Reference photo?

You solved my problem with PINK. White and blue is light blue, white and yellow is light yellow. But white and red is pink. Which has a completely different feel than red. Your advice: light orange for highlights and purple for shadows! Thanks!

Prinston velvet touch is my FAVORITE for watercolor! I find that they hold a lot of h2o at least for me😂
