I make Blender animations. Well first of all, welcome to MH-Ink (MH Inkorporated). This channel was created to share my passion for animation, creativity and story telling with the world. It all started with a few Splatoon GMOD animations and then I began to learn Blender. I plan to upload some random animations every now and then. Daybreaker Anthem - Grand Festival Version [Blender Animation - Splatoon 3]
A Blender render of Deep Cut's Daybreaker Anthem (Grand Festival version). The starting animation of Shiver was done manually by me, as well as the Shaders and some other minor enhancements throughout the entire song.

I must say, even though I watched the Nintendo Live many times when I was working on my Tentacle to the Metal animation, for some reason I ended up having an inkling (no pun intended), that the live versions had some minor differences. But by watching this again however, it does seem like it all came from the Live show. Thank you so much for sharing this! 😊

I like the fact you implemented Shiver playing that instrument (dunno the name) since her voice actress did the same for the song.

Thanks @matiasmalasquezalfar0803 😊! I believe the actual instrument in the behind the scenes footage is of a Sanshin. But as @juliansiles5410 has pointed out, the model I used in this animation is actually of a Shamisen (which to me seemed somewhat similar visually).

This is so cool but (sorry this is kinda rude) I hate the flashing, ik it happens in game but it doesn’t match with the songs vibes, I would love if it matched with the like wave sound thing they have in the bg but idk how blender works or if you could add that

It helps in making my videos better and learning more in the process! I'm sure there's a way to make the flashing happen in sync with the song (especially if each flash is configured manually), but I'm still somewhat of a beginner when it comes to Blender.

why is pearl getting sucked up by a ufo in the thumbnail
Edit: I changed that now! Thought that thumbnail better reflected the lyrics I wrote for the song (as explained in the description). The idea was that Pearl arrived on the UFO from the darkness of space, and Marina tells her to come into the light of the world (or something like that). I was actually planning to animate that to make a music video, but it was going to be way more work than this!

@@MH-ink. If their Damp Socks ft. Off the Hook outfits are used again for their own songs, since Pearl did not have the visors in the last one, will they either be brought back or just kept off along with the jacket?
@@carloso5910official The jacket has a lot of bones and animating that version of pearl was quite hard! I think I forgot to make the visors visible again during render since there were many problems with the model that needed constant fixing. For the Tentacle to the Metal video, I tired to closely follow frame by frame the official video titled "Splatoon 3 Live Concert featuring Deep Cut [Nintendo Live 2024 TOKYO]" in which Pearl is wearing that jacket and visors. For this video I just followed the Grand Festival dances in-game and Pearl wasn't wearing the puffy jacket. In short the specific models can be brought back depending on what I'm trying to mimic with my animations.
