This video depicts our efforts to build a replica jet fighter airplane from WWII. The Me 262 was a vicious warplane that flew 100 mph faster than any fighter (propeller) airplanes.

Beatyfull looking airplane , back then in world war 2 the B-17 crews that saw it flying at you must have thought that there eyes was playing a trick with them - hey look it has no propellars and look how fast that thing goes.

+ @breakmylegs7294 Yes, but it is not allowed in many European nations. The swastika ban actually goes back to the occupying Allies who wrote the ban into law at the end of WW2.
Would be intresting to see it beside a Closter Meteor..
The Gloster Meat box was completely outclassed by the Me-262

A beautiful airplane! A few years ago I saw one in the Deutsche Museum in Munich but it was a static display. Also there was Dornier Pfeil.
+ Nail Albaugh The Pfeil is just a mock-up since there is only one surviving example at the Smithsonian Museum..

+ Big Danny Moeskops casting tips It's a completely new-build aircraft built in the US. Original German wartime equipment was not stolen because the documents signed by Germany required surrender of all wartime equipment to the Allies.

The swastika on the tail is missing, but politics aside, this thing is a pure beauty!! It's the grandfather of all jet fighters! But please, do away with the music. Otherwise, great job!!

Even today , after 75 years of this aged jet ..its not easy to manufacture an aircraft like this .. 100% german made ..perfect machine

Warning , best to watch this video with the sound turned off, the music is stupid.
It's a good thing Hitler had his head up his ass during the War, if not he would have had these planes built in large numbers, instead of building large tanks that got stuck in the mud. Even to day these planes look like they could hold their own with modern planes.

+Howell Taylor Both buyers of the first two new aircraft did not want the swastika. The second aircraft could not be registered and flown in Germany with the symbol on it.
Triggering nazis is its own reward.
I just cannot imagine the cognitive impact of seeing one of these in the 1945 skies🤯.
