DAAKRO AK45 unboxing of a Best Seller in Audio Component Amplifiers
So we have an unboxing of the AK45 amplifier.
This is a very popular amplifier on Amazon.
When taking it out the box it feels pretty light, but it doesn't seem to be made badly nor does it seem to be made poorly, it just doesn't really weigh too much for the size it has.
On the front, we have an on and off power switch, a treble and bass control knob and mic volume, a Jack for 2 mic’s, and a USB and a SD card reader plus a volume control knob. It also has a mode switch and a play, pause, rewind and fast forward button. It comes with an FM antenna and a remote.
It has a power cord for the AC power inlet. And there’s also a jack for a 12 volt 5 amp DC power supply.
On The back, of, the amplif...

Subwoofer Isolation Pads Subwoofer Hockey Pucks can this Improve my sound?
Просмотров 337 часов назад
After I discovered the improvement I could realize with the use of Isolation Pads, I began to look for ways to improve the sound with my Subwoofers. I see several types of Isolation pad for subwoofers, but for me the cost was not within my budget range, so I tried these Hockey pucks instead, and they worked out great. They came in a pack of 30 for under $30.00 dollars I have never used any of t...

When I first set my speakers on top of these Isolation Pads, I noticed an improvement in sound immedi...

So many channels that start off reviewing 'budget' audio equipment slowly migrate up and up until they begin to review stuff that is more than $200, and refer to it as 'budget'. Keep doing what you're doing, stay true to your mission and I am sure that your channel will grow steadily. Thanks, and keep up the outstanding work

    Does the volume knob control the volume on the line out, or is it a fixed volume from the line out? A nice little 8" sub for not much more is the Dayton Audio Sub-800. I have one for my desk setup and very satisfied with it. I also have the Sub-1000 for my home theater setup. They are really the best powered subs in their price bracket in my opinion.

      Thanks for watching @MikeBCNU, I have not connected these to my Atmos system, so this is just my opinion. These speakers are limited on their power capacity so if the power rating to these speakers are set right, I think these would be excellent Atmos speakers. They have very good Bass for their size and are very clear sounding, not cheap sounding to me at all. And should cover the mids and highs just fine. Hope this helps.

    Hi - I am a recent subscriber; I really like your reviews and follow your advice or make buying decisions informed by your review. You also did a review on the FX-Audio DAC-X6. Which of these 2 do you think is better (sound-wise). They have different sizes of headphone jack but I prioritize sound quality (keeping in mind that these are affordable, starter DACs). Thanks for your advice/opinion and thanks for a great and informative channel.

    • @Viewmydesktop
      @Viewmydesktop Месяц назад

      First let me Thank You for being a subscriber and for your positive words, they always matter a lot to me. This is just my opinion, and it’s a bias opinion. I prefer a softer or warmer sound, and because of that I would pick the FX-Audio just out of the box, but I also like tone control and that would lead me to the Aiyima, and with the tone control I can soften the sound. So if I already have tone control in my system I would pick the warmer sound of the FX Audio because a really like the warmer sound. But if you prefer a brighter sound or tone control, my pick is the Aiyima. I think that both of these DACs are very nice sounding, and not just as starter, but just something for your system. P.S. At the time of the reply, the Aiyima was connected to one of my systems and the FX Audio was on a shelf, so I use both of them. I hope this helps.

      Thanks for taking the time and effort to reply,@@Viewmydesktop. After I commented, I went through your videos again and found your review/comparison between the FX-Audio X6 and the newer X6 Mk2. I ended up ordering the Mk2 😂 The Bluetooth connectivity was the key. Liked the aluminum face but chose the black because I figured the white text on black would be easier to see. Also, I read that the MK2 had a new (Sabre) Chipset. Thanks for a great channel. Keep putting out videos; they are simple, easy to follow and down to earth. One of the best IMHO.

    • @Viewmydesktop
      @Viewmydesktop Месяц назад

      Thank you, @DrFlippin I really appreciate you making the positive comments. I’m also glad you seen the video about the DAC-X6 MKII. I didn’t think to ask you if you had any interest in Bluetooth. So I’m glad you seen the video, and I agree with you, between the FX-Audio DAC-X6 MKII, the FX-Audio DAC-X6 or the AIYIMA DAC-A2 all of which I like, my choice would also be the DAC-X6 MKII. I agree with you about the Black over the Silver, I too think the Black is easier to see, but I’m okay with the Silver for now. I’m just glad you got the one you will possibly like. GREAT CHOICE.

    • @DrFlippin
      @DrFlippin Месяц назад

      Amazon is delivering my X6 MKII tomorrow; I am eager to take it for a spin. Mainly want to listen to Spotify through my budget HIFI system. I think one of the reasons why people like your channel and look forward to your next clip is because you give honest, down-to-earth and sensible opinions and advice. People like me want to buy an affordable DAC but have no clue about how much a good starter DAC should cost, and which ones to lean toward. Amazon has a LOT of DACs, and the prices go from $10 to $300+(!). So your videos are really helpful and educational. I don't have the time and $ to buy several DACs to test them and choose the best one. So, your recommendations are more appreciated than you might think. Speaking about DACs, can I make a suggestion for a video in the future? Can you guide us in how to use a CD player with digital coaxial/optical out with a DAC? Used CD players are very affordable and I've heard that these decks can be used as a 'transport' and that the sound quality produced through a good DAC can be better than the original CD player. Thanks and keep up the great work!

    • @Viewmydesktop

      Thank you, @@Viewmydesktop ! Based on your review, I immediately bought a pair of the Saiyin to try them out. Your review was spot on. For the price, they're not too bad at all; especially when set up with good equipment. I paired them with an NHT 10"subwoofer, and drove them with my vintage NAD 3020 (which was considered a 'budget' integrated amp in the day; yes, I bought it more than 30years ago). I also tried them through my old (budget) Monoprice Tube amp; at moderate volume level, close your eyes and the sound is impressive. Jazz, pop, folk (acoustic, unplugged, etc) classical... it handles it all decently (remember the price!). The 'horn' tweeter on them give out a bright and 'airy' high end (they make the high-hats on a drumkit sing), give a wide soundstage and they image remarkably well. The midrange is pretty good too, as voices were natural sounding (not shrill nor compressed). The bass is remarkable, given the small size of woofer; I think these would be adequate as near-fields or in a small room or bedroom. I set these up in the living room and so the sub was needed. And I think the perfect setup would treat these speakers as more of a neutral, reference speaker rather than a rock/pop loud speaker. As you pointed out, they don't play that loud. For less than 40 clams for the pair, its pretty hard not to recommend these. The only reason why I got the Saiyins over the Singing Wood was price. The Saiyin's listing yesterday on Amazon had a 25% off coupon, so I thought I'd try them out. Thanks @Viewmydesktop, I'm going to study your videos and recommendations.

      I would suggest 16awg speaker wire.. make sure the polarity is the same so the speakers will push and pull together. It doesnt matter which wire you hook to positive or negative as long as they are the same... traditionally I always hook the wire with the "tracer" to negative ... tracer being the wire that has the line all the way down the length. On the back of your stereo hook them to Front Left and Front right unless you are using them as surround speakers then use Back Left and Back Right sometimes labeled as Left Surround and Right Surround. If you already have four speakers on your stereo and have a 7.2 system, hook them to Left Presence and right Presence.. Some stereos have a "Zone 2" Those outputs are typically used for outside patio speakers Note** Zone 2 and Presence speakers can "auto Switch" depending on the media played

    Decent budget headphone amp for the price, its all from China these days. Schiit and several other companies all claim to be very high quality but it seems like your paying a premium when a lot of Chinese DAC/ amps do mostly the same thing. Only one pair of ears! Just like you say. Thanks for the considerate review.

    • @Viewmydesktop
      @Viewmydesktop 2 месяца назад

      We are definitely on the same page there. I’ve had access to some high end equipment, and I’m going to say that sometimes you have to pay for quality, but after some point the price just doesn’t justify increase in sound quality or the value of the equipment, and everyone’s hearing just isn’t the same. What one person likes may not be that special to someone else. I do appreciate you and everyone watching, and please continue to join in on the conversation.

      Thanks for watching; There holding up GREAT. They really seem to be very well made speakers. I have them on wall mounts and one of them fell out, it was my fault, because it took them down and when I placed them back I didn’t tighten the screw completely, but it doesn’t have a scratch on it. And still sound terrific.

    which ones would sound better for heavy metal and which ones for classical music like Beethoven symphonies? Thanks

    • @Viewmydesktop
      @Viewmydesktop 2 месяца назад

      I don’t have much of a Heavy Metal collection, though I have played come Classical on the Sony’s. However I do have a side by side coming up with the Micca’s, and I can play sounds through them then. But if I were to pick one without comparing the two side by side with that specific type of music, I would pick the Sony’s. Nevertheless I would think they both are capable of playing anything you might want to hear at a high level. and Thanks for watching

    Hello viewfrommydesktop, would you say this would make iems a bit louder, i dont care about the treble or bass control as much i just want to increase the volume a little more without having to use loudness equalization as im a competitive gamer and also play guitar

    • @Viewmydesktop
      @Viewmydesktop 3 месяца назад

      Greetings @vevz7286, let me first say that I’m not an expert about gaming systems in particular, but in general I usually look at a DAC to improve that sound quality of my system, and would use a Preamp if I was looking to increase my sound capacity. But if you’re using headphones, it should increase your sound volume, and this may vary depending on your source. I can’t say this is a good DAC for gaming in particular, but a very good DAC in general I hope this helps and Thanks for watching.

    Good comparison, good job! the Sony sounds like what it is; a bigger speaker, and the Micca sounds smaller than the Sony but I prefer this because is better sized for a destop, wow man if you had put rock or heavy metal music this comparison would have been brutal.

      @Viewmydesktop 3 месяца назад

      I had this connected to a system for about a week, but didn’t do a review just yet. But I can tell you that it works about the same as the FX-Audio DAC-X6, but a bit more elegant looking to me and it has Bluetooth, but I can’t say I recall any different in sound. And thanks for bringing it up to me, so I can get that review done A.S.A.P. I should also say that it has a little bit larger case.

    Hello, I have a question, I want a configuration to listen to music in a small room or living room, but I am undecided between a Klipsch promedia 2.1 and a Micca MB42X G2 with AIYIMA A07 TPA3255, thank you

    • @Viewmydesktop
      @Viewmydesktop 3 месяца назад

      I’m sorry to say I haven’t heard the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 personally to compare them to the Micca MB42X G2 with AIYIMA A07 set up. I can say that I think the Klipsch reputation is outstanding and they stand by the equipment. But in my opinion, I would think that the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 would be very good on a desktop or maybe a small room, but may come up short in a medium size or larger room. And I truly think that the Micca MB42X G2 with AIYIMA A07 set up could handle a desktop or small to medium size room, but to get the best sound from this set up you may want a subwoofer, but they do sound very good without one. And unfortunately I haven’t heard how the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 sound. Hope this helps, maybe a little. Best wishes I also have a video coming out with this Amp and the Micca MB42X G2 speakers, hopefully this week.
