@RebelOnTheRiver I'm not sure if people enjoy seeing me think up new designs on the fly, but that's the best part of the game for me! HOWEVER... next series, I'm gonna do something not using the balance beam design. It works well, so let's try something else!

Hey CJ, it's funny because on the old console a-14? I used to do a play throughs called night of the living dead In a tribute to Romero. I would make zombies walk day and night so night exploration was fun and scary, but not chaotic. The only thing that bothered me was I would never build, or craft cause I would never go home at night😅

i started playing No Man's Sky in 2022 only in VR and never stopped since. It's a truly amazing experience.
@ProgrammistMusic I'm literally fumbling my way through it, with the help of an experienced player, but I'm having a blast doing it!
try using scaffolding ladders instead of bars. they are cop spit proof 99% and you can melee and loot through them. surround your support pillar with three high dirt blocks, zombies dont attack dirt. also make your stairs up double wide..and branch another double wide stair off each side..so if one stair fails you have two backups..and with double wide stairs they dont get traffic jammed and start attacking things at random.

Hate to see you repair 4999 out of 5000. they shouldn't charge you a full bucket for that, but I understand why you do it cause I be doing the same lol . When you look at your walls you, do't want to see any numbers, it's the OCD in my nature lol.

@RebelOnTheRiver and we're not done. Those damn zombies did a lot of damage, and we're redesigning some aspects of the horde base to better withstand the onslaught.

In this stream series, we're playing on Warrior difficulty with increased zombie counts, increased horde sizes, and random horde nights every 3-7 days. Dire wolves have become a problem, as they beat the snot out of the minimal fighting positions we've used as we work towards the wasteland horde base. Constant horde nights means elevated gamestage. Finally, with the help of a level 6 pipe pistol, we have a way to stop dire wolves during horde night! Please like and subscribe for more #7daystodie content!

Server configured for random horde nights... horde nights every 3 days + 4 day random offset. So they occur randomly every 3 to 7 days.

@shatterdice1 changing horde night frequency shouldn't impact performance, unless you increase the number of zombies spawned on each horde night. Give it a whirl!
@@Cletus.Jenkins im currentlt on 24 per player. I did put on 32 per player when i had a mate with me but the lag i had was out of this world so dropped it back to 24 it seems stable now . Defo gonna try the varied horde night

These horde nights occur randomly every 3 to 7 days. Man, it's a workout trying to build a base, loot, explore, and fight, all in a short number of days!
