Herchel is a natural, a one of a kind, even as a freshman, so fresh to this game, you just don't see anyone run in those gears, He dominated those older players, size, two or three years of experience. It had no bearing on him, whatsoever. Had unreal quickness, unreal speed and could hit the brakes on a dime, twist, hit you head on, bounce off, deflect right or left, take one or two steps at the line and go airborne, over the top for a frist down! Or touchdown! Hit the gas and he's gone! Was a threat to go all the way! Each and every time he touched the ball! Watch most of the replays in his career, the entire defense is in slow slow motion, pursuit is futile and even if defense anticipates, he drops the clutch, accelerates and maneuvers all the way with ease ! He was the Milk Truck with the quickness and speed of a Ferrari! Oh yes he was. That's my scouting report! If you think I'm spot on, give me a thumbs up and i can share my thoughts on more !

This is off the top of my head this is from a 61-year-old.Much better college career than pro career even though he did have some good seasons with the cowboys, and this is before I even watch this mini Documentary

usfl tricked him into signing. He tried getting out to continue his senior year at georgia to no avail. Wouldve been a first round pick in 84.

He deserves the Hall Of Fame. After the USFL folded, we saw that the best players from the USFL also domimated in the NFL. The USFL was no pasty league. His stats there were hard earned and when combined with his NFL stats, he is the all purpose yardage leader in pro football history

no he by all means lived up to the hype, one thing you did not mention was that his MMA wins were at the age of 50+ yeah he definatly belongs in hall of fame as the greatest all time athlete

His nfl carrer wasnt as dominant as was hoped but he had tons of carries between georgia and usfl. By the time he got to the nfl he had a lot of miles onnhis legs , butnqas the foundation of the cowboys buildong there 90s teams But him and Bo Jackson prolly 2 of the greatest genetic freaks of that era, or any era

Oh yeah, he was definitely a BEAST ! I even used him in some video football games! Unfortunately, I think some of those hits to the head affected his rational thinking, when he entered the political arena. He should be a HOFamer though ! 🏈

Herschel Walker was an outstanding all around athlete I compare to the great Jim Brown! He should be in the top 20 NFL running backs of all times. He should already be inducted in the Football Hall Of Fame!

"One of the few black kids at his school and was picked on." Such bullcrap. The Johnson County public schools in the 1970s were about 50% black. He was picked on by other blacks for being overweight and stuttering. Save that moronic PC crap.

Herschel Walker not being in the Hall of Fame is akin to Roger Marris not being there. BOTH were household names. Let's not forget...it's called the Hall of FAME! That isn't to say that EITHER of their achievements were insignificant. They were BOTH off the charts!

He was overrated And I’m a diehard Cowboys fan. He was big, strong and fast but he didn’t have any running ability. He didn’t know how to stop on a dime and cut the other way. He also didn’t have ability to find the home

I lived in Atlanta, 1980- 1985, and it was Hershel Heaven. There was a saying that everyone was in on , that we are all kin to Hershel. He was a regional cultural phenomenon .Alot of what he did, during college, was off the football field. He brought people together for good

I truly believe that Hershal Walker won that 2020 US Senate race for the state of Georgia against Raphael Warnock. That election, in my opinion, along with so many other elections in recent years, was rigged.

Herschel is one of the greatest athletes of all time. He’s not only that but he is a great American, a great leader of men and humble as the day is long. I worked with his father and brother in the 70s and know that he came from a strong family and community. That he was subjected to having an election stolen from him In the dead of night by Fulton county apparatchiks is a shame and a disgrace to the state of GA.

His freshman year at UGA, he was probably the best back ever. He digressed yearly after that, and was stil very good as a pro, but the way he ran his Freshman year is light years beyond anything he did after that.

Everyone put 8 in the box just to slow him down. Remember, UGA had a QB that couldn't throw or run. But we had Herschel !
