So that claim is off. What if 3 or 4 bikes have loud exhaust and try to pass a car? Can the driver trace where the loud noises comes from in order to notice a motorbike in heavy traffic? No. It panic's the driver because he hears loud noises approaching, so he may maneuver to let you pass ( for example) and hit the others without loud exhaust. If you want to be safe when driving a bike, don't be a bad bike driver. Wear helmet, light reflectors, respect the road rules and other driver's ( generally don't be an ass and you will be fine), no need for loud exhaust .

Yes.... noise..... other than that they don't increase performance. They also make the scooter run more lean.

No. Just adding exhaust won't need to do anything. The ecu will adjust accordingly.

What looks like smoke is actually water vapour, every bike does this when you start it up in cold weather
