A fellow Dyspraxic from Greece. in my case i have mainly DCD(Dyspraxia), ADHD, ASD, Dysgraphia,SPD and Synesthesia and also elements of Dyslexia and Dyscalculia. I am certain also that as most of us Dyspraxics sadly though inevitably in addition i have quite serious complex PTSD problems as a result or outcome of my anxiety and everyday mental and so on difficulties naturally and also to an extent i am certain that i am influenced by CFS( Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) which i read is sadly also quite commonly a commorbidity for us Dyspraxics. The only good thing is that i was diagnosed early in my life when i was 4 years old band now being 35 years old i generally do manage to survive and like all of us have my coping mechanisms in place everyday but naturally and understandably with the usual everyday difficulties us Dyspraxics have.

Agreed. When us Dyspraxics are Adults we understand and know everything or almost everything about our lifelong neurological condition so indeed it is much easier for us although still we have our fair share of difficulties but we manage them much better obviously.

"How to get confidence from" When we get confidence from other people - this leads to codependency, narcissism and external locus of control. Bad idea. We actually can get confidence from within, it is called intrinsic locus of control - so that we do not depend on groupthink and herd mentality and on approval and validation from other people, like beggars seeking someone's pity over us. "Meet new people" is wide term. Are we talking about harassing random people in the street and bothering them with small chat? Are we talking about new job where we need to meet new people as customers? Or colleagues? Are we talking about school settings? All this ambient are different - and it is okay not to harass other people. Then - Why would we want to meet other people anyway? How can we be certain that the other person is not mentally ill or evil person with evil agenda? Where this urge to meet new people come from? Our self disgusts and self hatred? Is this come from toxic ambient where being top lobster is crowned only if we talk to new people as some sign of maturity and being top alpha male? Obviously these are nonsense and these patriarchy neurotypical beliefs need to be dropped. Talking and disagreeing with someone in the gym is totally different when we are stuck at toxic job due to lack of finances we cannot quit this job - and being around toxic people who use ad hominems - has nothing to do with our confidence. It is bad idea to self blame ourselves for other people being mean jerks. Idea to influence other people is called manipulation and coercive control - and only narcissists and psychopaths are having desire to influence other people. You are talking about other people from a romantic point of view. Where other people are healthy, sane, friendly, happy and without hidden agenda to exploit others. In reality - most people are greedy and aggressive and dangerous. If we decide to over-ride our natural reactions to evil people - by trying to "meet" new people - we will end up being taken advantage of others. We'll become pushover.

I have Dyspraxia & ADD and I didn't feel like I "needed" to smoke weed to fit in, but I've come to the decision now where I want to do it, just for me, if that exists?.. I hope u understand what I mean and just wondered your thoughts. Btw, brill vid, kinda made me realize that masking isn't just a autistic trait as I've definitely felt Imposter's Syndrome and may have been mixed up with them as I started to let my "mask" (ig u could say) slip.

Thank you for sharing and i'm glad that you found your path without the need of psychiatric "Medication" that doesn't really cure anything , as a matter of fact it can make it even worse therefore i strongly believe that a human being have all the power he needs within him to cure himself he just needs to have a motive to find it in himself , and by that i'm not undermining the science of psychology because it can really define the symptoms in most cases such as Dyspraxia or CDC but there's no such thing as a medical cure and truth be told. As for the learning process itself that is one of the most important discussions in our present era in my own opinion and the following is what i've concluded. You can't tell a student that he must study just because he should and leave it hanging in the air then expect him to actually care about it! A teacher is suppose to be an educator , what real educators does before making any demands is having rational discussions with their students about the purpose and the ethics of education and explain why students should study such subjects in order to understand, not achieve the highest grades in a school exam , that type of education is the biggest fallacy that has been imposed on mankind especially on the early stage learners Now i want you to ask yourself a question and keep the answer to yourself , if you've been schooled by a teacher during your elementary learning process who actually explained to you why are you studying that particular subject and tried to trigger the logical and the rational thinking in your young mind , would you ask a classmate to do your homework? On the other hand, would you really care about high grades then? The core purpose of education is to levitate the minds not to program it.

It's an Neurological disorders and Speech sound Disorder For the people including myself born with Apraxia of Speech It's official name in USA is Childhood Apraxia of Speech. I found that my Dyspraxia guaranteed no sequence of thought or physical movement was consistent enough to produce a reliable effect. I recently started learning Drumming and it has started to make me aware of my brain (and how it goes off on a tangent) and posture (and how I was getting exhausted from poor posture control). Slowly but surely though I am gaining more control and consistency in my thoughts and movement. This is now making everything easy and more fun to build routines and a schedule. I also laugh at myself still throwing stuff in my hands up in the air, banging into furniture, etc. :) Good videos!
