@ I just unlocked Competitive yesterday and struck in Bronze lol. I might need some time to get out of it Are you playing on console or PC? I’m on PS5. Ranked mode doesn’t have crossplay between consoles & PC. Even if you’re on PC , you can send me friend request for playing future non-ranked events. I'm using 8bitdo Arcade Stick. It's an elementary level fightstick and works on Switch and PC. It can also be used wirelessly but I usually use cable to ensure faster response. People say Qanba Obsidian is good. You can consider that if you're mainly playing on PS4. If you plan to buy a PS5, you can consider Hori fighting stick alpha, which is the only licensed PS5 stick right now. If you don't mind learning, Hitbox is also great because you might input more precisely than using a stick. The layout is quite similar to keyboard's AWSD and replace the W with the space bar. It seems that it can do charge moves more easily than other controllers. People say the Hori fighting commanders are good but not durable. It has 6 buttons in the front so I think it should be quite good in playing Street Fighter and DOA. In the past, I almost used controllers all the time except when I played in the arcade centres. Now I'm more comfortable with fightstick so I'll just stick with it. I don't need to worry about my thumb and can play for hours. It seems that some moves and combos are easier to be executed on pads. For example, I did Hayate's Raijin using Switch Pro Controller. So you can just explore and see which controller suits you more.

@@BoarGameTV oh very cool. Oh ok, would be nice to find an arcade stick that works with ps4 and ps5. I heard about hitbox, i think daigo uses that to help guile do charge moves and move around. I grew up playing fighting games at arcades also, i like the feeling of the arcade stick. Wow you know alot of fighting games.

@@BoarGameTV i like the hori fight pad so far, the six button layout diffenetly feels nicer then the standard ps4 controller.

@@salzero30 Yes. Even if you're playing KOF, two more buttons really help a lot. Btw, there're many tournament players using PS4 controller so it may be preferred in some fighting games.

I heard that Mayflash sticks are now compatible with PS5 but their models are elementary level so it might not be a good investment if you plan to play fighting games for years. I'll say Xyz, Synchro and Link. They are more versatile than fusion, ritual and pendulum because you don't need to run cards that are too specific. You can generally use these types of extra monsters in any decks if you're not playing optimal meta decks to win consistently.

@@BoarGameTV nice, i like xyz, synchro and link also, even though some of the ritual and fusion monsters look sooo cool. I dont know to use pendulum summon, looks complicated.
