Since the combat beta has been pushed to live we have been experimenting with a lot of new strategies and are currently using the increased hit caps to our advantage to burst Zamorak down in one cycle using ranged and melee. my 4k kill was truly awful so uploading this instead, not a particularly fast kill but was fairly clean i was considering being ethical and not use boneshield, but i feel like the game is permanently in a state of something being broken or overpowered that i just didnt wanna bother with it. you can easily replicate this with a necro pouch instead of the rebounder.

Kinda curious, how do you Split Soul when you're not using Necromancy? In game, you can't actually use it without a Necro main hand equipped, unless I'm missing something? (Also shouldn't it only proc from Necro damage? How is it proccing from Ranged damage?)
Eldritch Crossbow literally has a spec called Split Soul, which has been in the game for 5 years, we use the eof version to use it with bolg (my purple eof)

i mean yea i go zammy at 90% enrage and i get hits 2-3k and u go 45k enrage and u get 0 damage ok
we do a lot of devotion and barricading which reduces damage by 100%, this in combination with intercept and some smart timing lets us block a lot of the autos. however the autos we do still tank are well over 50k damage if we didnt use any defensives and only used prayer

how do you guys completely null basicly all the damage? is it just dmg redirect + cade? i don't really understand it
basically yea, barricade blocks 100% of damage and devotion makes protection/deflect prayers 100% effective, combine that with intercept which lets you redirect damage and you got a very long uptime of 100% damage reduction. this is only possible because we starting charging pad 4 last not too long ago, if you go back to some older videos you will notice a lot more damage being tanked because we didnt have that luxury at the time :p
@@dyvnne ah ok thought zammy would just hit thru devot cade and such thought that was the whole idea with 60k rage not being supposedly possible by design.
@@RSWrecked yea so pad 4 causes the disintegrate stacks which would let damage go through defensives, and we used to need that to survive phase 7 bombs, but since the combat beta we can consistently burst down zamorak before having to worry about the bombs so that kinda trivialized the entire fight.
@@dyvnne interesting might give it a shot once i get back into rs3 again see how far i can push it solo or duo

for a large portion of the fight we have 100% damage reduction from barricade and devotion, however we might need some hp boosting armour closer to 60k for the few we do still have to tank

My son duck (14) watches a lot of video game streamers on Twitch.tv. I personally don't find them entertaining but I can understand why some people (like duck) do. Over the past month he's starting using terms like "pog", "jabaited", and "Kappa" which I guess are terms that are used in the scope of Twitch. I don't have an issue with my son using these terms but it's gotten to the point where every sentence is Twitchspeak. We were having dinner and my daughter (age 12) was talking about how she got accepted for a summer program with the local animal shelter, and my son said "Pog you, easy clap". I told him that it was getting out of hand and that he would have to communicate normally to his parents and family. To that he said "Weird champ, feels weird man, normies omega LOL." Until he learns to communicate like a normal human being I've blacklisted Twitch from the internet for the time being. He's hysterical now but I told him that I would unblacklist it if he stopped using twitchspeak, but he's refusing to stop so for now it's banned. AITA?
