Days 5 and 6 were filled with running errands and prep for funeral and service. A lot of cultural and traditional Samoan funeral rituals were on display. Also Georges Pizza is a must when your in Samoa 👍

Day 3 and 4 we spent most the day going back and forth from our airbnb to Vailuutai for preparation of our aunty Mugi funeral. A lot of eating and quality time with family

We head to Samoa to lay our aunty Mugi lotoa to rest. First day we fly in from Sydney and head to our Airbnb in Siusega then we head out to buy groceries for the next few days. We head over to Faleatiu and Vailuutai to visit family before we head back to rest for the night. Started the day with a stroll through Belconnen and the lake with coffee in hand Drove through Canberra looking for different embassy’s Went up Mount Ainslie then to Canberra Parliament House We finished the day off at the War memorial before driving back to Sydney

We head off to Canberra over the Anzac long weekend We make a few pit stops on the way to lunch at KINGSLEY’S in Belconnen We Check in at our Airbnb and have a look around the city before heading to Jamala zoo Back home to have a nice warm swim in the heated pool before dinner and footy with some family

Our last day in Samoa as we head into town for some shopping at Tanoa and Fugalei Markets We go for a swim at Sauniatu waterfall then dinner at Tauese Seaview in Apia We checkout and fly back to Sydney via Nadi Fiji

Samoa and New Zealand 10 day Getaway Started the morning with a stroll through town and back to hotel for breakfast The day was for visiting my Friend Len Satele who passed away in 2019 and also cleaning up my nana and papa’s grave site We headed back to Apia for lunch at Le Lava hotel then for a swim at Palolo Deep marine reserve Dinner at our Hotel and rest for next days adventures

Samoa and New Zealand 10 day Getaway We spent most of the day at Lalomanu beach which is a hour and a half drive from Apia then we headed back for dinner at The Edge Marina in Apia

Samoa and New Zealand 10 day Getaway First full day in Samoa and it was storming and sunny just like the tropics We had buffet breakfast at Tanoa then headed to the cultural arts centre museum Followed by Piula cave pool which we had all to ourselves and the eel which lives in there Dinner at the Tania fiafia night with performances to end the night

10 day getaway from Sydney to Auckland then to Samoa We leave our Auckland airbnb and head to Samoa on Air NZ We make our first stop to see my Grandparents graves at Faleatiu Samoa and the head into Apia for lunch at Taumeasina before check in at Tanoa Tusitala Dinner at Tanoa before dessert at our favourite spot Scoops in Apia Swim at our hotel and dinner before next days adventures

10 day Getaway to New Zealand and Samoa 2024 Site seeing in Auckland and also Family bbq Next stop Samoa ✈️

10 day holiday to New Zealand then to Samoa First Day is our flight into Auckland followed by stops at St Luke’s mall, Māngere Town Centre, Mangere Markets and a tour of our Airbnb. Food stops at Pinati, Hells Pizza and Denys

In May of 2023 we flew back to NZ to attend my brother in laws dads funeral and also my partners FAHU. We also had the privilege of introducing my partners dad to his one of his sons he had not met since birth.
