For some reason I am only just seeing this video pop up. When I was in Whittlesea in 2016 a beastly truck with a insane roar revved through my streets that being this exact same truck I was pretty disappointed now a days that I only got it on one bin as it was very early mornings, this truck has to be one of the top tier trucks of JJs and definitely the fastest. When it rocked up to Whittlesea the truck was quite slow which was disappointing. Great video as I’m a bit late 😂

My favorite these split trucks and top choice in terms of capacity and the advantage of able to empty two different waste streams separately into one truck!

What are the odds, on the day before, Wednesday, just gone thinking to myself why not head back down to Logan again for a change as I recently discovered they currently have this truck on loan by coming across a smaller local enthusiast's channel and then attempting to try and get it, but got called into my own work for a shift on the drive down having to scrap plans altogether instead and then you go out and happen to get it yourself the very next day! Maybe this is a sign saying to me don't bother next week trying to hunt it down, this video shall be sufficient for quality video captures of it. Enjoyed the last clip starting at 9:44 the most, seems like a very tranquil area of Logan you picked to film, just a bit of a shame there was no old nature green bins at play given as it was taken in a new estate. Cool to see Bucher sideloading equipment make a return to the council too, this time on a Dennis. Finally it was nice to see the truck opening almost every single lid on the downward motion after collection as well, you get a bit jaded after a while seeing the other trucks slow arms in their fleet close them, funny because on the contrary here's a throwback to 2020 when council was determining best value for money and who would take on the next 10 year term as their waste contractor, thinking to myself if Cleanaway wins it i reckon for sure they'll bend the contract rules a bit and have a few trucks flip the lids, and sure enough every now and then you see one doing just that! There'd be no chance or a once in a blue moon sighting getting a JJ's Richards Compactor truck to flip if they were still here operating. Even if it's not all the time though, at least that's one positive thing that I have liked seeing change since the changeover.

Of all the places I could think of that you would go to and visit in South East QLD on holiday, the Sunshine Coast definitely wasn't one of them! Great shots you got up there in Nambour, love the different hilly + scenic shots a change from the inner city vibe or urban style ones. Love the fact it seems most people take care of their lawns quite well too, always looks better shooting footage on neat and manicured lawns rather than scruffy overgrown ones. Pleased to see a recycle truck feature first, when I came through in August 2022 just past Glass House Mountains, I tried to also get recycling but it was late in the day and not surprisingly they had already been collected in the next suburb up in Beerwah. Lol that bush turkey at 5:32 panicked like hell! Even a Euro 6 Volvo is still too noisy and scary for it to handle, it wasn't hanging around see ya later i'm outta here :P I'm assuming the reason you went to a greenwaste area to get rubbish was because you wanted to try and get greenwaste on film also? At least you got 2 out of the 3 streams, waste and recycle, but fell short of greens much like with me getting greens and garbage but falling short of recycle.
