Great video! My grandparents lived on Pearl Ave. so I’m more than familiar with that area…but how exciting to see a bird’s eye view! Thanks so much for sharing this!
Thanks for the video. I grew up on the Southside. Although the economy has struggled for decades in that region, Binghamton is not the only NE city to do so. Many in that area relied on one type of inducstry for too long, when that dried up, the area was in trouble. Thank goodness they have SUNY. Otherwise it would be in serious trouble. Geographically, I still think the Triple Cites is in one of the prettiest places on the planet. I really miss seeing the mountains. We now live about 4 hrs. away near Gettysburg, PA
This is my hometown I was born and raised here for 17 years I still miss it and go back as much as I can even now close to 2 years later so I very much appreciate you doing this flyover❤️
Hi Rick. Thanks for posting this video. I just purchased a Drone late last year and have yet to fly it. I did register it with the FCC I am wondering if you needed any special permissions to take this video of Downtown.... I love this and I want to re-post it on my Farcebook page. I have many friends for the area that will enjoy seeing this.
Thanks for your interest. Feel free to repost this. There are currently not any other regulations in this area to fly downtown other that what the FAA already requires. Use common sense and don't fly over people. Since you are new to drones, definitely learn in an open unpopulated area. www.faa.gov/uas/recreational_fliers/
Sorry for the many months late reply, currently there are no regulations in Binghamton for drone flights, you just need to follow the FAA rules. Feel free to share this, thanks for watching!
Looks like we were at sandy beach around the same time ha!, good to see another local on youtube Thanks Greg Baer ruclips.net/video/TCINZ_gHoUw/видео.html
I was born in Binghamton and raised in Westover. It is a beautiful area. Thanks for bringing me back.
Hi Rick, this is great footage of Binghamton. Can I use a few seconds from it for a video I'm working on? Let me know your cost, please. Thanks! - Rob

How is moving there? What about mediciad and other facilities
Now many people are moving.. Medicaid & others facilities are same like New York City..
