The prison finally closed in 1986! I guess better late than never. The conditions were beyond terrible. Dogs in the local shelter are given better treatment.

Wow, thanks for this. It brought back a lot of memories. I haven’t been to New York in almost a decade. I see the square continues to evolve, including more grifters, lol. Eating at Bubba Gump’s and Kodama Sushi were a couple of my traditions every fashion week. And one season when something went awry with my hotel accommodations, Rosa did some quick work pivoting and booked me in that same Marriott. It was a nice stay. I’m also remembering that the first New York fashion show I ever attended was right there in Times Square. It was a millennium fashion show in late 1999 in which each major designer had one look, and it was worn by a celebrity. I’m glad you had a great time. This video has convinced me that I need to get back there soon.

After seeing this, I have moved Nice higher on my bucket list. It looks like a good time, and I’m sure the food is as great as the views.
