HOn3 Talyllyn from Bachmann.
Просмотров 378Месяц назад
Hey guys. Today, I received and unboxed a new release in the Bachmann HOn3 range. I chose the green Talyllyn because that is the livery the engine wears in the Thomas the tank engine railway series. I like the detail on this one, and it looks great running. The motor sounds a little bit strange, but I'm not exactly sure what it is. But other than that, I am pleased with it. I have another HOn3 ...
Unboxing and running Auxiliary tenders #809 Jim Adams and #814 Joe Jordon.

Hey guys. Here are some more new auxiliary tenders from Scale trains. The detail is absolutely crazy on these. I bought these because l wanted a complete U.P. Excursion train. Not completely prototypical but almost. They look great with both Big Boys and hopefully will look good with another engine I have coming soon. Should I try completing the full heritage fleet of engines and coaches? What ...
Unboxing and running a new H-1 a/b Hudson

Hey guys. I just purchased a new Rapido Canadian Pacific H-1 Hudson. This engine is absolutely impressive. This is only the second engine that I own from Rapido trains and I’m looking into getting a third when the model I’m looking at is ready. In don’t own any appropriate CP rolling stock so I improvised and had some fun. Enjoy!!
More Lil’ Big Haulers!!!

I recently purchased two engines in the Bachmann Lil’ Big Haulers range. The Green one is the one I’ve been looking for the most, but if their is Blue version of anything I most likely going to jump on it. I haven’t thought up names for them or for the B&B #1, but I’m kinda leaning towards calling the Green one Lil Al to go with Big Al. Let me know what you guys think. Enjoy!!!

Your loco seems to run really well. Congratulations and thanks for sharing!!

Would it be doable to get a video on how you couple your tomix Annie and clarabel to the Bachman skarloey and narrow gauge stuff . I have regular N scale but wanna collect some 009 narrow gauge And until I get slate trucks I want to run them with regular N items . But the couplers are different . However you managed it . I am curious . Thanks for reading and have an amazing day !
@MaxwellTheTrainFan I used knuckle couplers from Bachmann. They are not hard to change, but you want to make sure you get the long shank for the OO9/HOn3 train due to the buffers. The Tomix trains are a bit different. I'll have to see about making a video to explain those.
@@ecdrailroad885 I mean I live in the uk So I use rapido couplers , that being the standard for uk N scale whilst our 009 narrow gauge uses them loop couplers I recon it wouldn’t be so hard to get some bachman narrow gauge slate trucks specifically made for narrow gauge … I say that cuz if I am correct in that they come with spare couplers with them I can couple N scale to 009 . In short making my life easyer . Tho I don’t know . I will figure it out soon enough !
Now this is a nice video ! Honestly . I at the time when bachmans skarloey came out had only just ONE or two model trains . A hornby Thomas and a hornby flying Scotsman . Scotsman is gone … but thomas and his whole train set still live on ! However I only a year ago got into N scale models … but have recently remembered 009 narrow gauge and hence I have some proper track for them now … I could . But my main issue is couplers . How do I couple regular N scale to 009 couplers since there so different . I don’t want to buy new rollingstock at first . Well until I get slate trucks anyways Good video … just to add you got a new sub from this ! I saw talylln in person in her blue . Just to tell you I am a 5,3 teenager and even I hit my head on her cab roof … so she is TINY for a steam engine .
@MaxwellTheTrainFan thank you very much for all of that. I'm a little bit jealous that you got to see Talyllyn for real, but I still think that's awesome. I'm in the USA, but I would still love to see them for myself.
@@ecdrailroad885 I mean she is just 8 hours away . I live a hour away from Scotland and for my childhood lived in the midlands only 20 mins away from the Severn valley I just wherever I go am close to railways . The ONLY one I haven’t been to is the bluebell railway . And going on my wales trip to the awdery extravaganza to see the narrow gauge engines … everyone but Douglas no6 . Or Duncan I guess Even got a cab ride of talylln and midlander . Who were both dressed as skarloey and rusty . Tho … not a big deal really in my eyes . Probably cuz I see British steam engines almost every weekend after school . Oh and Scotsman twice and mallard … I am a half hour away from york so mallard is just a monthly visit for me . Sorry to sound abit what the word … snobby I think … sorry about that if it sounds that way . Tho there is no need to be jealous 😁 I just happen to live in the uk and have moved house twice and live close to railways I just happen to be lucky as where I was born and live ! I mean some came from down under to see the little engines . I mean full on Australia ! and some from America too . And obviously myself . Tho . Maybe you can one day . Even if it’s not a day out with thomas event type deal But you have something I don’t get to see yourself . The strasburg is closer to you than it is to me I may have the talylln . Well you have the strasburg . It’s even playing grounds . No need to be jelous . Be happy you have what you have ! And be proud of it too whilst at it Anyways . Have an amazing day !
Nice to hear 786’s voice again
Those look great with the American Freedom Train locomotive. Who would have guessed? Although I have to say, seeing your track right on the edge of the table with no protection definitely gave me some anxiety!
Thank you. And that's understandable if something derails there, I do have pray it doesn't fall before I can put it back on. Lol.
Great video
This railroad has so much history about it, and is one of my favorite railroads in America
Less smoke?
475 is back pulling the "Powhatan Arrow." And it's still wearing Southern Pacific 786's whistle.
I absolutley love trains, they are amazing! I recently discovered G-scale and totally fell in love. I spent $3,000 on G-scale layout supplies and my intention was to build a mega city in my garden. I was so so very excited at the prospect. Then my dad had a stroke. Project de-railed and I fell into a dark depression. Life is short and we take much for granted. I am one of his primary care givers so my time is now very limited. I absolutley love your videos as they allow me to live in a dream world where I was able to have fun with my newly acquired trains, vs just letting them sit and collect dust. Thank you for what you do, it really means a lot to some people in the world that are without! :)
The pleasure is all mine, my friend. 👍
I want these. The wish list grows
i bought two of them, there beautiful
Gee its got everything but a good chugg sound that why I look for older conventional ones and tmcc
Absolutely inspired! What a fantastic layout! :) I am also tinkering with ideas and getting mine started as well! :D
It takes some work, but it's definitely worth it.
Nice! Are those Bachmann Lil' Big Haulers in the consists? I like the red one kind of giving a caboose vibe while being in keeping with a passenger train.
They are. I wanted to see how they looked with the larger coaches. I originally got the red one to go with Toby since Bachmann hasn't made a large scale Henrietta yet.
@@ecdrailroad885 I think they look fabulous together. Very narrow-gauge short line.
Happy St Patrick’s Day

👌 👏 👍 😍 💖 🆒️ Awesome!!!!!!!!
Thomas is a really useful engine.
