Z32 Calipers + Z33 Track Rotors + GKTech + Chase Bays = Nissan 240sx Brake Upgrade
Просмотров 1,8 тыс.2 года назад
Next on the list for the 240sx is the brake system. I decided to do an oem style big brake kit using 300zx calipers paired with 350z track rotors. This is all possible with the help of adapters from GKTech that space the caliper accordingly. Chase Bays was called in for all my plumbing needs. Overall, extremely pleased with the outcome. Stay tuned for what’s next!
240sx Gets New Rear Suspension - ISR Pro: RUCA, Toe, and Traction Arms + Voodoo + Whiteline
Просмотров 6212 года назад
Finally getting around to adding some adjustability to the rear of the car by adding ISR Pro rear upper control arm, traction and toe arms, Voodoo eccentric lock out kit, and Whiteline rear sway bar. Hopping this provides me with the adjustability I need while also adding a little more to the the performance factor.
Fuel system upgrade: gas tank, fuel pump assembly, walboro 255, z32 filter, Gates lines, + Greddy 👀
Просмотров 602 года назад
Time to upgrade my fuel system and switch out all of my rusty components. I refinished the inside and outside of my new (used) gas tank and fuel pump assembly. Adding in a Walboro 255 fuel pump, z32 300zx fuel filter, Gates green shield fuel injection hoses, Greddy fuel regulator clocking adapter, and new oem seals. Fuel system is good to go!
AEM Uego Wideband into my 240sx with street faction gauge pod. No weld option. Super easy install!

Adding some visibility of your AFR is cheap insurance. Better to know than to not know and go boom. This was a super easy install with the no weld option clamp. The street faction gauge pod is a nice touch too.
Complete Brake Caliper Rebuild - New pistons, seals, o-rings, paint...etc. Nissan 300zx (z32)
Просмотров 8062 года назад
Next up on my Nissan 240sx project is the brake system. I was able to source some 300zx front calipers but at closer inspection, I realized they were in rough shape. I decided to do a complete rebuild and make them like new again for peace of mind.
Ultimate Battery Box on a Budget! (DIY) With volt gauge and kill switch
Просмотров 4442 года назад
It came time to focus on my power supply and I wanted something that would be secure, nice, and functional, so I came up with this battery box. This is being used in a full purpose race car, but can be used in any application that requires a battery box. To spice things up a bit I added a volt gauge and master kill switch. Needless to say, I’m pretty happy with the results. Let me know if you h...
DIY - Homemade Paint Booth + Prep
Просмотров 2302 года назад
It’s time to prep up the car for primer! I put on a few coats of 2k Primer to give me enough build up to block it back down properly. The body is nice and straight now, so color is coming soon. I did this all in my garage for super cheap and the booth worked perfectly! Proper cleaning and prep work is key! This is the first time my car is all one color! (Almost) Here is a list of supplies used:...
DIY Permanent Rust Repair using POR15 Rust Stop Kit + Top Coat
Просмотров 4,3 тыс.3 года назад
As I was prepping my car for primer, I found some rust. This pretty much stopped me in my tracks and I needed this repaired ASAP. After doing a ton of research I came across a lot of good feedback about POR15 products, so I gave it a try. My application was a bit time consuming, but the end result made up for it. It came out really well.
How To Fix Subwoofer Bass Rattle - Honda Accord
Просмотров 64 тыс.3 года назад
I got tired of the rear deck lid rattling every time I was jamming out to a song with decent bass, so I took some foam, cut it out and put it under the rear deck lid and voila it worked! No more rattle and I can turn my volume to max and it sounds amazing. I finally get to enjoy the premium audio I paid for. No but seriously, this really did work and I’m thoroughly impressed with the results. A...
Toyota Camry Front Bumper Replacement 2018 SE XSE
Просмотров 32 тыс.3 года назад
It’s always fun working on a new chassis and learning something new. Today I had the opportunity to replace a front bumper on a 2018 Toyota Camry SE. I looked online before I got started for a little guidance and was surprised when I didn’t find much, so I decided to make my own. It’s rather straight forward, but hopefully someone else who is seeking some guidance can find this useful.
DIY - Widebody Overfenders install + Modifying Quarter Panels Without Welding - Nissan 240sx S13

If you are installing over fenders on your car and do not have access to a welder, you may benefit from watching this. I’ll show you how to install your overfenders and modify your quarter panels, with no welder needed. During this process, I needed to fill a hole using fiberglass so I have included fiberglass repair as a bonus here too. For this project I am using the following supplies: 3M Im...

DIY Custom Interior - Suede 240sx Glove Box

What’s up everyone. Undoubtedly, the oem glove box in the Nissan 240sx S13 is an eyesore in its stock form. The factory gray fabric is hideous and looks very outdated. This video will show how to turn that eyesore into an attractive piece using some black suede. Here are the basic steps: Disassemble everything Remove the old fabric and adhesive Clean up the surface Apply adhesive Wrap the glove...

Cut a small spacer out of wood or plastic that is slightly bigger than the gap between your rear deck brake light and the rear window. Paint it or wrap it in a tape that is the same color as the rear deck. Put it in the gap so that it creates a downward pressure in the deck. It will stop most or all of the rattle. If you do it well, the spacer won't be noticable from the outside unless you are looking for it.

I was doing research on a replacement bumper for my camry 2023 and I saw that most of the replacement bumpers say without sensor. Does that mean that the bumper piece doesnt have the right molding pieces to transfer the old sensor from the old bumper onto the new one? Or does it just mean that the replacement bumper doesnt come with the part. Its so confusing.
