Actual info for grown people, love it. If them Army ants, they setting up a new colony. Check for holes, outside AND inside near doors and windows. I usually keep a mix of 4:1 water (hot to start) & bleach with some Dawn mixed in for the places I don't wanna spray insecticide. Takes a lil bit to work on a colony but you can saturate the wood inside to force them outside.

Hey there... Interesting point you raised there, most especially when you highlighted the situation at high frequencies / fast transitions. However, on those circumstances of High Frequency / fast transitions, it's not just the diode clamped op-amps that are at risk because if you don't have the diodes, then you're exposing the EB junction of the input transistors to the transient if it's a bipolar input op-amp. Granted, it takes much more voltage than just 0.7V to start seeing problems, but still, the potential for problem is there, especially if your op-amp is a high slew-rate one. It's on the designer's responsibility though, to limit the bandwidth of the input signal to something that falls within the safe margin, whether the input has clamp diodes or not.
