Omg - editing this I was like holy smokes…. I really need to cut back on my “super excited-ness” LOL
were taking another RC cruise in oct out of galveston and this may be an unpopular opinion but we really prefer the older smaller ships. they just fell more cozy and intimate

We just got back. Everything is great except for the buffet and no mobile app and also the traditional muster. I was super surprised at the quality of the ribeye at the steakhouse. We are going back again when they do the 7 day cruises next year.

Interesting conversation regarding his cruise experience on the Celebrity Eclipse. Good to hear he had a positive experience. I'm taking my first cruise in 3 months (Oct '24) so it was very useful as I do my own research for this ship. My trip is to the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and St. Maartin, so it's a little different than his trip to Bermuda. Still worthwhile to hear about his trip from Canada. I live in Massachusetts and will fly to Ft. Lauderdale. The embarkation process is a little nerve wracking but hopefully it will go fairly smoothly. Thanks for this podcast.

Mary is an outstanding addition to your podcast. She is able to support her opinions with reasons. I have not been on Icon of the Seas yet but I wouldn't be surprised if we disagreed on a few points. Her articulate and insightful points made listening a joy. She clearly described why this ship deserved an episode all on its own. Hopefully, we can hear her talk about her Celebrity experience. What class of Celebrity did she get to enjoy? And yes, Frank. You are ok too ;)

You’re not the first person saying my mom is cooler and a more knowledgeable cruiser than me 😉 We’re already working on a date to get her on for her recent Celebrity cruise, and I was just talking to her about booking some more later this year or early next year on a newer ship. She was on the Reflection, so an older ship. She can’t wait to try the Edge Class! Thanks again for listening and reaching out, means a ton to us!
