Thank you!!
Love my 51/130. Good video.
Thank you and so glad you love it!!
Looking forward to the Webinar!
Thank you!
A tip for working with wood is to turn your scan direction to 45 degrees and cross hatch on. Will get rid of those grain direction hills and valleys, will double your time but 👌
Very cool! Looking forward to seeing the launch!
Awesome!! Can't wait to see it!
Awesome video. I have referred back to this a bunch of times. Thanks for making it. One thing I noticed though though, I think the correction for the smaller lip diameter is wrong. I am engraving an almost identical water bottle with a smaller lip at the top and if I reduce the diameter of the rollers within the rotary setup from 63mm to 55mm, it stretches my design horizontally. If instead I increase the size of the rollers to 71mm, the design comes out in the correct proportions.
Why would you put your face under the laser?😂
I was hoping you would show differance in the 2 lens
Too fast to folow.
Excellent tip. So simple. thank you.
Wow! Thanks Zee! Some really helpful info for new start-ups and even those who are in business and trying to grow their business. Thanks so much!
Very interesting stuff. Thanks folks!
I can't get rotary chuck to hold on to heavy dollar store tapered glasses. It don't matter if I try to grip them from the small end or the wide end, they slip out of the the chuck. And, it also doesn't matter if I grip them outside or inside. Any ideas?
hi there- send an email to support@thunderlaser.ca and we can help!
LOL!!
glad you liked it haha
Price increase will hopefully mean some type of upgrade. If not will have to wait for the Thunder Bolt II
Great helpful video - Thanks folks!
thx Gord!
Omg gurrllll I’ve been looking at sooo many videos searching for a way to change my canvas setting/work area in light burn And you literally showed my in less than 5 minutes….thank you sooo much!! 🙏🏽⭐️
Hurray!
is the increase just Canada or US as well?
Why does PiBurn charge an extra $100 for thunder laser users. But all other laser users they don’t.
Awesome collaboration! Very happy to be a part of the first, in the series of helpful informative laser collaborations, to help people like me, to make a business income or "Side Hustle" to augment their regular income. Thanks for inviting me to participate!
How did you get the steps per rotation setting?
Apologies we didn't see this message here is the info: support.thunderlaserusa.com/portal/en/kb/articles/rotoboss-roller-rotary-setup#Find_and_Set_your_Steps
Great demo!!!!
Hey that's awesome to offer extra support services to help folks get started with their e-commerce sites to sell their creations on the laser! Trying to build my own site with no experience was a nightmare. Good stuff!!
totally-thanks for the support Gord!
Hello, can you tell us what is the difference in engraving? Thank you
did you not set the diameter of the object?
Yeah you're right! Just noticed this as well. May have kept the previous settings from another engrave since several videos were filmed with the same mug that day.
Thanks - very helpful. Can you tell us what type or class of safety glasses are acceptable for using the BOLT, and also, do you sell them?
Hi. We will start selling them soon. Here are some one of our staff used in this video. www.amazon.ca/Protective-Protection-Reflective-9000-11000nm-Certified/dp/B0BV9J4ZMJ/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3J4U3V0J3D05S&keywords=laser+safety+glasses+10600nm&qid=1703912990&sprefix=laser+safety+glasses+,aps,87&sr=8-5
That was a cool demonstration! Safety 1st 😎
thx!
Best tutorial ever.
nobody explains the placement of the lens and what side of the lense facws up in the holder
Hi Dwight here is an article that will help. Domed/Rounded side on top. support.thunderlaserusa.com/portal/en/kb/articles/inspecting-and-cleaning-nova-series-optics We are working on creating more thorough support articles and videos right now. Thanks for bringing this to our attention
Thank you so much for the clear and concise video! This is exactly what I was looking for to engrave the negative space and make the letters positive so to speak. Thank you again!
thanks for your comment! Glad to help
Thank you for this video, I was going nuts trying to figure out how to make raised letters, oddly enough, I have done it before, but couldn’t figure it out again.
thanks-glad to help!
Ctrl+D instead of Ctrl+C Ctrl+V 😎
Final product looks like crap , nothing beats sandblasting ☝️
Will it run ok in negative temperatures I'm in New Brunswick Canada and plan on having it in the garage unheated?
there is a safe operating temperature range -www.thunderlaser.ca/faq/#:~:text=What%20temperatures%20and%20humidity%20can,not%20operate%20in%20direct%20sunlight.
Where to buy this Rotary..
This one can be purchased from Thunder Laser directly just contact sales@thunderlaser.ca
How do I recenter the 3 jaws on the chuck. I loosened them up too far and two fell out. I put them back in place and tightened them up but they don't pinch down evenly.
Looking forward to hearing the rest! ⚡️
That’s awesome! ⚡️
Do you have machines in india?,what is the cost of this machine?
Damn, I could have used this yesterday as I was trying to do a reserve engrave on a patch. Great video, easy to understand.
Ahhhh
Love hearing other Canadian small business success stories! The tumblers is a great use for a Thunder Laser
\(^o^)/~ ok

In looking over the Thunder Laser website, I'm still unsure if all the equipment is using a CO2 Laser "Only" or if a "Fibre Laser" is also available? I've used a Fibre Laser only system fir a while at work, for marking & engraving Tools, & Equipment, but it had no CO2 Laser installed, for the kinds if jobs suited best for that. Great for Metal Marking & Engraving, not great on Plastics!
Hi Robert- yes-check out the Aurora! www.thunderlaser.ca/laser-marking-machine/
@@thunderlasercanadathe other machines can engrave on metal and plastic. They cant cut metal though- send an email to sales@thunderlaser.ca to get more details on the tubes and materials it can cut
The project turned out well; great tutorial!
thanks so much
Thank you for this
Nice explanation! I just received my Piburn about a week ago and find it really easy to use. What kind of bottle did you engrave that gives you a black finish? It's very sharp.
It looks black at first-but then you rub it off. If you want it to look black you can use Cermark www.cermarkusa.com/
I think the angle you're holding it at doesn't reflect the stainless steel underneath. I mistook it for a black finish. Thanks!
