5 axis DMU 50 at work

We needed to hard-mill some complex-shaped steel tooling after heat treat and so we added check grooves to the inspection surfaces. Our 5-axis DMU-50 did a great job machining this component of a larger inspection fixture assembly for a global manufacturer of mining and construction equipment.

Our machine shop has moved. That's a thick boy
So ... how did the prints look side by side with the previous model? What other differences did you notice between them?
The differences were not that noticeable on the UMA 90 part shown in the video. We really started seeing difference when printing other geometries with Carbon's dual-cure resins. There is much smoother first print surface finish and speeds are about 10%-20% faster by default.

The specific object that is being made Translucent, and if you are in an assembly context could also affect the results of what you're seeing.
I didn’t know about the tab that pops up. Much more handy. I also noticed you can undock the tab, which makes it extra visible in its own window
