I think you’re just uneducated. Dreads and braids are definitely apart of black culture. Slaves used to braid their hair to memorize ways to escape their slave owners. Woman would braid their children’s hair to hide food in it so they wouldn’t starve in plantations. People would get dreads in their hair because of it being dirty and the curls would start matting up and would eventually turn into dreads. So many people got discriminated against because of having dreads and braids, even by Asian people. Now they want to use our cultural and get praised for it.
