i have a video of my Sharp GF999 on my channel, all standard with no mods. i have a video of my Silver SR8800 with the same woofers as those, think they are Alpine 40w 4ohm ? they sound nice, way nicer than the originals.

this is a lesson from me, never put a cassette inside because it can be magnetized, it's a beautiful boombox, I like it, I like it the most

Awesome !!! I have a sharp GF 919 Japanese version of the 777. It's in mint condition everything works all original but I would like to upgrade the speakers for more bass and better sound, what do you recommend?
do not change the speakers or you will lose the sound quality. whoever changed the speakers in this 777 took away the quality & characteristics of the sound.there is no clarity. i have a GF-909 a 777z and a 575. if you recap the amps you will get the bass back & the clarity. if you don't know to do it send it out to be done. it will cost between 350-450 to have it done well worth it

Kickass Box. Can a you recommend a excellent boombox restoration shop. Im living in Vancouver Canada a have a 1980 jvc similar to LL Cool J Box on his album cover. Complete restoration, it's in great condition but the sound needs work.
