@@Shipman37x hey - I would just double it a few times then I usually gas it up till half way up and then float off it. Give it more gas than you need because pretty long landing. I have over jumped it a few times and nothing bad happens but landing short or even on top wasn’t the most ideal. Give it a mental commitment earlier in the lap and just let er rip. You got it.

@motoman361 appreciate it! Iv always doubled it in the past. Idk it Seems like this last layout, they made the takeoff really steep and it's messing with my confidence. I blew my fork seals doubling it 2 weeks ago😂. Should 3rd gear do it? I'm on a 300

@@Shipman37xI’d think so. Haven’t ridden a 300. I’d just say go faster than you think you’d need. No need to seatbounce or do anything other than float off the face with adequate speed. Unless your like wide open 4th gear nothing bad will happen from hitting it a bit faster than you need to

hey - 2022.5 ktm 450 (basically 23 ktm 450 with some orange bling) - levers are some cheap unbreakable ones off of ebay or amazon. they are cool and like 25 bucks for both so cheaper than 1 regular breakable ktm one haha

felt heavier to be honest, and more vibration, was a pretty easy switch back to the 450 just took a lap or two, had to remind myself to shift and leverage the clutch haha

Mmx is notorious for being pretty mild and flat haha, still fun every so often. It's 40$ and that gives you entrance to both the main and sand tracks

yea i would love to ride one at hangtown. i wanna see how it would be up a hill and just handling a bit more rough of a track. still glad they let us demo it for free tho!

@@motoman361 i swear you have one of the cleanest looking KTM's. I just got my 23 450sxf back in february after spending 14 years on kawasaki and getting a ktm was the best move i ever made

Thanks man. I just have the stock aer forks and standard shock. I found some solid settings from keefertesting and just run those. I think it's like 152 psi in forks and I weigh about 160, prob 165/70 geared up. Have always wanted to try cones or kyb stuff, but so damn expensive

@@motoman361 that’s sweet, I had a 19 fc450 and couldn’t gel with the AER’s but it probably didnt help that I way 150lbs with gear on haha I Rode another ktm450 with kyb conversion and made me wish I just invested in the forks and kept it

@@traavdasav I have heard only good things about going spring but just think of how many rider entry fees that equates too, i also get waxed by kids that have full stock stuff sometimes so i just tell myself to be better with what i got, but i think like you said it probably is worth the investment haha

I don't think any tracks are quite the same as they are when prepped for the national. They make it so deep for those races

Thanks, there are always some fast riders out there. Fun track tho and definitely the best practice around IMO. Some fun tracks in Marysville too, I got some semi recent videos from out there as well. Keep on ripping 🤙🏼
