This teibute is amazing and shows the story of Astarion as well as the talent of Niel Newborn so well... but in the 20+ times I've watched this and shown it to people so to introduce them to the game.... This is not the good ending

I've seen most of these, but I love the line about offering precious moments of comfort. It's so fitting for the soft, good side of Astarion.

"Cazador won after all" line is so heartbreaking because it is literally the opposite. When astarion ascends, then Cazador wins, because our boy continues the never ending cycle of trauma and violence and becomes just like his master. Cazador would be delighted seeing how power and obsession that he marked on astarion corrupt him until he is no longer himself. He would love seeing how after all astarion never escaped him and instead got completely consumed by his past. But let's guess what would cazador hate to see the most? Astarion finally being happy and loved.
