This is an training exercise on the Sydney Harbour Based James Craig Barque Ship (1874). Some of the more experienced James Craig Crew are practising how to rescue someone who has fallen from the course yard who has fallen and is unconscious. Yes Victor, the "victim" is a dummy. Just in case you were not sure.
"Stepping on starboard" no... No... NONONO!! Jeez, I'm VERY fraid of heights.
No upper body strength = landlubber life for you

Impressive, Myf! You certainly seem to know what you're doing. Exhilarating. Wonder what it's like on the high seas in a wind and under sail. You'd want those safety lines.
It is a lot more when the ship is rocking and rolling. I did go to the T'gallant as a southerly hit to do a storm furl. Quite terrifying. Your body weight feels like it doubles when the ship heels over. I will have to warm myself up for that one again.
