I cannot get the midi connection to work at all for this piano. I can connect with Bluetooth to iPhone in Garageband, but the keys don't register any input/create sound in app. I can't get it to connect to my Mac Air at all, Bluetooth or USB...any tips??
I would like to thank you for doing this video. My wife Jane is learning to play the piano/keyboard. Practises every day. The only problem is when we are away in our small campervan the size of her keyboard is a problem. It limits our ability to carry food and bedding etc in terms of lack of storage. So watching your video is a real help. We are now considering buying the roll up rubber type. Best wishes from George and Jane Motorhome Adventures in the UK. 👫 PS We have sold our Motorhome a few years back downsized to a Campervan. BONGO.
I'm glad the video helped. Consider a smaller keyboard with full travel keys. The rollout rubber one will not allow the learner to get used to real piano key movement and feel. There are 61-key options versus the full size 88 keys.
@@PianoHooks Thank you .
I have a folding piano with silicone keys. mine's the cossain bora I think. I'm blind, so I was wondering what kind of pianos you're using? but my speaker's pretty good. but, mine has the builtin rechargible batteries, so the first one obviously not the same. this maybe a silly question, but is there a difference between the folding piano and a rollup?
Should I get this as a beginner?
wow you are a fantastic teacher !
how to get it ?
I just started watching your video and wanted to mention right away that wine glasses don’t actually need coasters. Their stems act as built-in coasters, keeping any condensation contained in the glass. Using a coaster could increase the risk of accidentally knocking over the glass and causing a big mess.
Thanks for watching. The coaster is just so I don't scratch the surface of the table. An object of equal or greater density can scratch its counterpart.
i just ordered one form temu for 65 dollars, a steal imo
opens box with samurai sword - subscribed.
Thanks for the unbox and review, both very appropriate. However, one definitive detail was missing: connecting the folding piano to an external amplifier or using VSTs, inside a DAW.

MF is Mozart over here lol. Greta video
It was a very good presentation! Thank you! Peter, from Hungary
Is there any issue in temrs of electricity supply voltage? Because in US the voltage is 120v and I will travel to Asia with 220v.
2 years ago bought a folding keyboard under the brand name "Clavier Folding Piano". Probably the same thing under different brand names. Found the same keyboard under different brand names including: Fverey, Magicon, Terence and of course Clavier & Finger Dance. Did my own review about the product: ruclips.net/video/OHAyxpgSB4M/видео.htmlsi=8YFT0qXF8I-Ki3Fp You're right that many of the cheaper keyboards has keys that feel "springy". They're semi-weighted but feel heavy. The default piano sound tend to be rather artificial but you can plug into the computer and use a program with virtual instruments to get better piano samples like Steinway or Bechstein. Don't think Learning Modes A or B teaches an absolute beginner to play the right notes or count beats in a systematic way like the online program Piano Marvel or Simply Piano. The Split feature for a teacher showing a beginner student how to play is handy with the teacher on 1 side and the student on the other. When you get to a higher level, you find that splitting the keyboard in half gives you only 44 keys which limits you to playing very basic pieces.
Which app did you use for tabs sir
This is very clear and informative. Thanks a ton, i just got this exact keyboard as my first attempt at an instrument and this video really explains alot about it.
I bought this keyboard and notice that it has a really annoying hum behind every note I press. Did yours have that too? I asked the seller on Amazon, and they told me to charge it fully, which I did. Still, no difference. That sound drives me nuts.
Thank you for your nice and excelent review. I am currently orienting myself to practice my classical pieces when I am camping. So I am comparing this one with for instance the OYAYO 88. There are many out there. Any recent suggestions? I feel I entered a jungle of foldables that look quite similar...
A lot of useful info. Over the years I find that the rubber roll-up is a great toy to get a child interested playing piano. When it comes to serious learning have to think about it. Like all toy keyboards, the action is too far from a real piano. You want a keyboard with semi or fully weighted keys as early as possible so that your can master your techniques. Otherwise you learn to play to accommodate a rubber keyboard but not the way you're suppose to play on a real piano.
O meu sonho era ter piano
My tune button wont work😢
Oh I did know see hear the hold with two hands part
Thank you. Your the best,, subscribe to you..
Its me again so now we have a real piano and it beats all of them acoustic pianos even when their out of tune its over
if you used a vst on your computer and put headphones on it could sound amazing
The duo piano doesn’t seem to be available for purchase on Amazon, and their FB page seems to have been neglected for the last three years. And I couldn’t find a business website when I did a google search. I wonder if there is a similar product available anywhere?
It seemed to have disappeared a while back. There are similar options, including a couple that I have reviewed on my channel.
@@PianoHooks could you share the names, please and thank you. 😊

How do I use another speaker with this piano to improve the sound output? I don't see how to connect it
I think the best way would be to connect the piano to your computer via USB, run it through a DAW, choose the sound you want, and play that through speakers connected to your computer. The only issue would be latency.
The springs are installed under the keys. The only advantage of the folding keyboard is portability. Yes, it's good for practicing on the go, but it's not good for serious playing.
Good talent
I'll take the last one Duo piano
Now to find the last one, the duo piano seems to be the best. The second one horrible, I couldn't get past the clicking of the keys. The first one was okay
That took a long time to explain, damn
True, and this is why: Learning to identify groups of 2 and 3 black keys takes seconds or minutes. Learning to identify keys by letter names takes days if not weeks. Learning to read sheet music takes months and years to get fluent. If you can read sheet music, skip ahead in the video and just read the music, and, voila, learned in seconds. Just have to have the months/years of learning to read notes. Otherwise, that's why the simple explanation takes so long.
when you load the tune from computer will the key light up?
It appears to me that it needs support in the middle. As you played, there was a great deal of stress on the hinged area. This is a point of fatigue and possible failure. Thanks for the review.
It would certainly be ideal to have the keyboard lay on a sturdy flat surface.
do you have the midi file? trying to play this in piano vision
Oh yes, I have all the MIDI files and sheets, and will make them available in the near future.
Bad camera angle, my friend and why are using a piano. Thank you but no thanks.
I just ordered mine for $70
Hello sir, the touch responses is quite good because you play such hard pieces: Liebestraume, Moonlight finale and some glissandos. •The second, though the sound is so sharp, explosive, it does suits the accoustic player for new-age compositions. •The third, that Samurai is always there. Next time, chop the Clavinovas.
Hi, do you known if I can use any sound on my ipad via MIDI?
Thanks for your review! What is your keyboard?
Thanks for watching! My digital piano is the Roland FP-30.
how was the touch sensitivity?
It is quite satisfactory for the keys not being weighted.
What about the Sudiologic NuMax GT?
I am a Korean who recommended a product in your store today. Post this on your RUclips channel. Thank you so much for your kind and pleasant response. Good luck!
Thank you!
Usb port? 5:20
It only has a USB-C port for charging and connecting to your computer.
I didn’t see if it has headphones slot, or if possible to connect to any speaker to know the sound change
It does have a 3.5mm headphone port.
Hi, can this piano be used with a pedal that has a half sustain function to get a half sustain function?
If you find a pedal that can do this, it should work.
After using it for so much time did it have any problem ?
So far so good!
Hello! Dear talantl maestro! Thank-you very much for magik -full-reklam,for prof-soft-play too!
Many thanks!!
Its good...plz teach us the musical part also in the same song....sweetest melody part
