I don't think I've ever seen people fish for bass like that. What do you use for bait? It looks like you're set up for catfish. And it looks like a good spot for cats. I live in Hampton and I fish in the Chesapeake Bay for flounder, redfish and trout.
Most of the bass fishermen are influenced by the tournament fishermen who use artificial lures to catch bass. Bass will hit live bait also, such as minnows, shad, or night crawlers. If you like to sit and watch multiple rods, then you should try fishing downlines with live bait. You can catch multiple species including bass, crappie, catfish, and perch. I will sometimes use artificial lures if I am in the mood to cast or troll. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Since no one saw the fish that broke the line, it could have anything, Im guessing it was bigfoot, just like it might have been a carp.

Yellow perch are one of the most beautiful fish that swims and I absolutely love to catch a big one. I can't wait to catch one of them there "Nile Perch" you asked about. Keep watching !
