@@DarkKingdomProductions Yes, there is a script that depends on you saving the Rangers. It would never have occurred to me in my life that someone would actually let them die at the beginning.

@@CerberusKingofRage 😅 they usually don't when I play that map, did you increase the attacking forces there or something recently? I tried to position to destroy them at max range but they could never find a clear line of sight.

Ironman mode means in most RTS or strategy games where you can not, "can not save whenever you want to", which if you lose say a unit that is very important or critical. You wont get it back unless you completely restart at the beginning of the mission. Saves will only happen when you either reach a checkpoint or leave the game. It makes any player be very cautious and play smart to not lose too much of your forces. If you screw up or FAFO with your troops, it will bite you in the ass. Think of it being the toughest and hardest difficulty because it removes the ability or option to save whenever you want to. Cant save and restart at the last moment. Only at the beginning of the mission or last checkpoint.

@@Oldguy1900 it's a general term used in gaming that refers to no loading because of mistakes during gameplay. I just call it my personal variation of the rule set because I control when I save, as opposed to the game actually controlling it because of my streaming schedule. There's an option to tick a box in the game difficulties for it.

@@JacobMartin-f9g it's a total overhaul mod and your welcome to experiment however you should assume it will only work best by itself. However it's got alot of content, so IMO it won't benefit from any other mods being installed with it.

​@DarkKingdomProductions NP was fun to watch 👍 Oh on the .50 cal, only SLAP rounds will pen light armor,think up armored humvee, RUFUS are more for Infantry and mostly used by designated Marksman, none however will pen anything on a modern MBT or a light tank.

@Oldguy1900 I think alot of RL ballistic and armor rules apply to this game so good advice ty, plasma weapons aside because we as the public don't really get to see those employed for the most part 😁😅

@DarkKingdomProductions few good channels on here give you a good idea and understanding. Kentucky Ballistics has a vid up of what happens when a .50 cal rifle with a RUFUS round explodes,about killed him. I caught where you were talking about some of the missions are really hard, like I said I would learn some mechanized infantry tactics and probably try it on a really easy setting to get a feel for it and definitely not stream it 🤣. I think one of the bonuses to using you're different Infantry correctly you would probably end up with a lot more Loot.

@@DarkKingdomProductions yes im using steam. I will try it again if that doesnt work than i will reinstall the game and try again. This should be pretty easy because i used to mod games before. I must be doing something wrong.

@adikmen007 in very rare events, things can be corrupted, either the game file or the nexus mod download, either way verify game file through steam and repull the mod if haven't yet. Other then that yes the instructions are on Cerberus nexus site. If you've done mods before then yeah this one should be easier then most other game mod installs.

@@Ironbuket I appreciate your comment broski. I do get distracted easily so I know I may not always explain what I'm doing. Basically I've gifted myself a pretty big ship with limited starting resources and am going from there. I don't have an extremely elaborate plan. I did remove shield pen completely, but in place of that gave enemies and pois in general more shielding to sort of balance that. I've made a few other minor changes like making some weapon and tool turrets usable planet side etc. It's the end of my night so I might be forgetting things. I appreciate you checking in and asking questions thou. 👌

Lastly I go about changes by editing the mod files directly. It's kinda why I'm doing only SP right now too.

@@Ironbuket Its genuinely pretty easy with this game compared to some others thankfully. Essentially you just look under the scenarios directory in the main game dir. Now if you use steam it will be in the workshop folder under a specific number and that I don't have bc I'm on epic, so I did a manual install, you would have to Google that. And basically you just edit certain parameters of that files. Most of the common stuff is in the block and item config files. I've covered it in a few vids before. Dont remember where or in which ones but maybe at the start of one of my exiled warlord epi vids.
