Welcome to the official channel of Surrender Hill, the dynamic Americana/Country duo formed by singer-songwriters Robin Dean Salmon and Afton Seekins. Based in Sedona, AZ, Surrender Hill was born out of a shared passion for music and a serendipitous meeting in 2013. After countless performances in Northern Arizona's vibrant music scene, Robin and Afton began their collaboration in March 2014, blending their talents and lives.
Join us on a musical journey that started in a one-room cabin in Camp Verde, AZ, where the duo wrote and recorded their debut album while performing over 200 shows in a year. In 2015, they embarked on a memorable 7-week tour across Texas and the Southeast in their trusty 1998 Dodge Van, "Blue Betty."

A song inspired by Afton's Grandfather and his incredible life... We traveled back to her hometown of Homer, AK, a place filled with memories and stories, for her Grandfather's memorial, a heartfelt occasion to honor his legacy. During this emotional time, we thought that this would be the right place and time to capture some footage for our song "Last Goodbye," which is one of the tracks off of our new album "River of Tears." The song reflects our feelings and experiences related to loss and remembrance, and we believe it truly resonates with the significance of the moment we shared there.
