I’m not sure exactly how you would disconnect it from the car. Only thing I could really think of is to use a different key fob and program that one to the car.

Thanks I really appreciate the support 💯. So to me I would say it honestly depends on what your goals are. If you are staying NA then I would say UpRev will be fine. If you plan on boosting then I would lean more towards EcuTek. I heard that has way more options when it comes to boosted applications. If EcuTek would’ve been around when I originally purchased my tune I would’ve gone with it. Both platforms are good.

I feel like you would be happy either route. Although I went with Z1 for this option for the mail in tune, when I do my next tune I plan on going with Moncef and Admin Tuning. No disrespect to Z1 at all, but I’ve seen nothing but great work from Moncef. Plus he does remote tuning for boosted applications which is what I’m working towards. Hmmm that’s a good question. It might not let you do the programming since the electric motor isn’t working for the lock. I’m not sure if the bcm would need to see that input for the procedure to start.

Yes after a tune my Z has flames.

I wouldn’t say it necessarily gained any horsepower but removing the the pulley reduces some drag on the motor. This also reduces the chance of this pulley going out on you.

@@beezyrider already have light weight flywheel and crank pulley ,do you think the motor would be spinning to freely with this mod

Have you tried heating the area around the bolts to help loosen it? I know they can really be a pain

I am running a plenum spacer already. It was the first mod I did to my Z. I have a ported upper plenum sitting in my garage as well as lower manifold. Also going to be boosting soon so all should be good.

The manual says 5w30 for all temps but 10w30 and 10w40 can be used in climates above -18C.

Not really sure how much power I might have gained. If I was to guess it might be around 15-20hp peak. The power curve feels a lot smoother compared to stock.

Honestly I have no idea lol. I kept playing around with the cruise control switches then it finally worked. But I’m not sure if that was the cause because I wasn’t able to switch maps until I sent my ecu back again

This exhaust will only work for a 350Z or G35 coupe.

I got the spoiler from eBay. It already came color matched. My wheel specs are 19x9.5 +22 front and 19x11 + 22 rear. Front tires are 245 35 and rear are 275 30

I picked ARC license in the included section which was $100. You can have up to 5 maps so they can be whatever you choose. I’m not 100% sure if they will give a pops and bangs map on yours without the burble map. I think I got lucky with my tune 🤷🏽‍♂️

I just wrote them on the build sheet that you print off and send to Z1. There are no “ARC maps”. ARC can be used in all maps even the “base map”

I have the ISR GT exhaust, ISR y-pipe and Berk Resonated test pipes. Still have factory headers.

Doing this does not eliminate AC. This only eliminates a pulley that I’m not needed. AC still works and functions properly.
