Shanghai at Night (Best Drone Locations) | Cycling in Shanghai | Episode 8
Shanghai truly is a city that comes alive at night. I will definitely make a part 2 because firstly, its just amazing flying the drone at night in Shanghai and second, I really need to improve my night time videography, so challenge accepted.

China's Five Great Mountains | Episode 1 | Mount Song (Songshan)
Просмотров 1965 месяцев назад
I've been wanting to do this for a long time now, and just thought enough is enough, the time has arrived. I chose Mount Song as the first of five because I haven't been to Henan before, and the other four are all in provinces I have already visited. What is exciting for me is that apparently, Mount Song is the least impressive of the five and as you can see in this video, it's still extremely ...
Hiking in China | Episode 1 | Shangqing Ancient Trail
Просмотров 3135 месяцев назад
We decided we wanted to go hiking for a weekend not too far from Shanghai, so, after some research online, we found the Shangqing Ancient Trail, a hike close to the city of Shaoxing just outside of the larger city of Hangzhou. We hiked on the hottest day possible, but enjoyed it nonetheless. Strava GPS Map: www.strava.com/activities/11932585633 Instagram Reel: pC93-ujXPiwY/ RUcli...

Finally went out to Baoshan Temple. First off, the temperate on this day was incredibly hot, so pardon my filming, I was tired enough from the cycling. While I had hoped to actually go inside this time, it was not to be, however, the drone footage definitely made up for it. Hope you guys enjoy! I didn't know what to expect from this place, although it was quite and not that interesting, some of the graffiti, especially on the granary was pretty impressive, nice ride nonetheless. I like that channel!
This aircraft carrier had all its equipment dismantled before, leaving only an empty shell. Currently, the remaining hull has also been damaged by fire, making it highly unlikely to be remodeled into a theme park again. It is most probable that it will be dismantled for scrap metal.
yeah i saw, such a sad ending but so happy that i got to see it.
Yes certainly beautiful Paul and as Patricia use to say when she was little looks like Fairyland 👏👍🥰
I'm in China, the ship was on fire yesterday when it was under upgrading to continue serving as a theme park.
@@LL酱-s5f I saw this news report too. Wondering how much damage occurred

Those night shots look great, filmed from your phone? I've struggled getting quality low-light footage from my GoPro. Not so envious of those sudden Southern downpours though!
This was shot on my gopro hero 11 and yeah, you can see that the moving shots arent so good, so i have the same problem. but if you can find enough light the still shots can still turn out alright.

Shanghai is beautiful by night 🤩
Agreed. Mount Song is very impressive. Look forward to your hiking the other four. I have only been to Heng Shan and Hua Shan, cable car and then some hiking. Cheers!
@@francisH3549 thanks, I look forward to hiking them too. Not sure which one I will do next, maybe Mount Tai
Amazing Paul, as you said the views were spectacular but sooo many stairs would have been much easier coming down. Looking forward to the next one. 👏👍💕

Love your videos, sightseeing China 👏👍
That was amazing Paul, it was good to see you hiking and giving your bike a break. It was very dense in parts and the spiders would have been the undoing of me. Great photography and beautiful scenery. 👏👍😎
it was a lot of fun
Welcome back. Missed you for quite some time.

I envy the smooth pavement that’s free of potholes and sunken manholes there. I also see many videos of night group rides in China and they ride fast. I would never ride past 18mph at night in the US because of potential potholes.
lol I guess it depends upon the roads you ride on, obviously the US has good roads too. The good thing about most Chinese cities is that they have dedicated bike lanes. Though there are still many bad roads in China too.
It's surprising you can record and film there considering they have strict rules in Documenting and censored news thier.Keep safe
i havent encounted any rules or restrictions regarding documenting/blogging
Paul your videos are amazing, you could be a tourist guide 😊, I really enjoy watching 👏👍🥰

Can you actually go inside ?
someone told me there is a horse stable inside there now, but i didnt see it.
Hi Paul, the video was great it looks like a large area. Is it a working place, do people live there as well?
yes, people live there as well
It is not fake. It is just a British styled housing development. Only ignorants will call it a fake town. Do Chinese call any Chinese syled built up area in the west fake China town?
They copied even the gray skies lol
hahahaha the worst part
Just wondering do the local called it "FAKE" uk town. No one called fake Chinatown in the west.
well its a little different right? Chinatown's around the world were set-up by Chinese people, this wasn't made by the British. Of course we could argue whether its correct to call it fake, but it was designed with a purpose to mimic a British town. So, whatever label is appropriate I'm not sure, but I went with fake, not sure that the locals call it fake. Maybe some do, some don't.
Theme towns. They have them all over. Nothing wrong with it. Shows they like those places. It doesn’t have to be a negative.
@@provident8732 agreed!
wtf? ... How could it be britishit when the town was built in CHINA? Obviously the town is not fake, when the town was completed in real life, and got people live and work there!...sb
I was hoping for a pub too haha I'm going to china to film videos so these videos are nice to watch. Are you doing it full time?
no, just a hobby. but trying to find to cool places to visit. when will you be visiting?
As a British person, that town felt very like north eastern American. Like the road signs, the cars and how wide the street is. It feels more like a suburb of Boston than a British town. The only part I was impressed with was 4:34 as I feel like I've seen places like that in Birmingham, with the dirty water and those style buildings
oh haha okay. thats an interesting opinion. i guess they didnt do a good enough job at replicating it then haha.
@@paul_enterprises yh id give It maybe a 4.5/10, the Paris they did was better id say
@@connortopping6943 have you been there? i was planning on going there soon
@@paul_enterprises the real one I assume you mean😂😂, never been to China or Asia actually. Just see it in yes theory’s video and others on YT. Looks cool but it’s a ghost town whereas this one looks like it has life to it
@@connortopping6943 yeah i mean the fake Paris in China. its in Hangzhou, which is a city close to Shanghai, where I live. So planning to go there on a weekend sometime.

The drone shots look amazing. I did not have that luxury. It is a 747-100, first entered service in 1970 with PanAm. Last used (based on what I could research) by UPS. But how it ended up here … i have no idea.
wow, you also knew this? once i posted my photos on little red book (小红书) someone in the comments also explained this to me. kind of a sad ending for the plane. someone said it was originally over in pudong then moved to where it is now because it was going to be part of a park, however, as we can see, it hasnt ended up that way.
There's a 100km walk/bike lane in SiChuan, ChengDu. It circle the entire city. If you got the chance 👍
wow, that sounds very cool. ill have a look into it, thanks for the suggestion
nice and great discovery haha
