WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW About Roll-Off Trailers!
I purchased a CK3520SC with a rock grappler last month and I'm loving it, 12 hours on it and its been great.
More dealers should have this attitude.
Great info. Wish you were closer!
Kioti = Kubota rip off. Please everyone do NOT buy these you WILL regret it!!! Thank me later
Ehhh, not really. I have a video coming soon about the beginnings of Kioti's parent company Daedong, but two brothers found the company in South Korea right after WW2 and had a vision to contribute to the rebuilding of their country. They were in ag manufacturing within the first few years of their business. That is hardly a Kubota ripoff story line. They started importing to the US as Kioti in the 80's, but had already been doing tractors long before. Kioti/Daedong is actually a design build company that has built their own way in the industry.
Very thorough video. Thank you for putting this together! Gravity drop cylinders could have a flow valve added to the hydraulic line, which would control decent in the situations you mentioned. Also, torsion axles would probably be fine for a single axle trailer since they wouldn't be dealing with any equalization issues.
Correct on both counts. Good suggestions.
Thanks for this video. It was very informative.
Which one would you recommend for a scrap metal guy? would you consider any thing else you did not mention for scrap pickup?
Depends a little on what type of scrap you are carrying. Household scrap can be pretty light and bulky like appliances and such. A high side dump might be nice for the volume, but keep the height in mind if you are throwing things over the side. Heavier scrap that will be loaded by a machine can tear things up, so you may want a heavy 7 guage floor and height may not be as important.
Great job explaining all the options and the pro's and con's of each in a concise manner.
Nice product ❤
nice
Agreed to all except the powder coat isn't good on a trailer! You want wet paint finish that covers everything not ending up with pin hole rust.
I am not familiar with pin hole issues on power coat. The only thing I could think of that would create that would be if it hasn't been heated properly. Properly heated powder coat will completely liquefy and even sag or run if applied too thickly. When properly heated, there will be no pin holes.
I have to admit, you taught me a few things here. If you wee in my time zone, I’d absolutely buy from you.
This video was very helpful.
Very informative, and you are a skilled talker. Very professional.
Really good informative video
hi I’m looking in to getting in the junk removal business. I was thinking about the f250 or 350 with a trailer. If that falls in the cdl category which I have a license already does that mean u have to get dot also. Also what’s better diesel or gas?
Sorry for the delayed response, but if you are hauling something that pertains to conducting a business, most times you do need a DOT number. They are easy to obtain online. In regards to diesel vs. gas, I am a big proponent for using a gas burner as a stepping stone towards a diesel. Gas burners offer lower cost of entry and lower operating cost and will get the job done. Then when you are ready for it, make the switch to diesel if you prefer.
Real good video, probably the best one ive seen in regards to dump trailers. He breaks it down and gives suggestions i had never considered. 👍🏼👍🏼 especially when dealing with a scissor lift, that it matters for different reasons which was its facing
I concur
I wasn't expect a trailer dealer to put out such a non biased take on the roll off trailers. It's appreciated. Keep up the good work.
