Hi chica, you can apply for university accommodation through the university of leeds website. But you can only do it once your daughter has accepted an offer!

im unsure as to what GMAT is, i submitted my A level results, but you will have to submit the equivalent of UK A level scores

Hi Vikesh, Hope you’re doing well I’m planning to do my Masters in Management and I have offers from Uni of Bristol & Uni of Leeds, I’m really confused between the two so I wanted your opinion on it. Can you suggest which Uni should I choose 😅
Hey !I do even have the same offer and which one have you finalized ?
Leeds is a better city on average, both are similar in terms of prestige but bristol probably slightly better
leeds in my opinion is a lots better city. more to do and lot more vibrant. Bristol ive never been to but if you looking for good things outside of uni, leeds is your best bet

i think mainly undergraduates, but post graduates can live here if they book privately.

Hi Vikesh, Great informative video. My daughter will be studying Law at Leeds this September. She has shortlisted White Rose View as it looks great and has a gym. Do you know of any other similar accommodation close to the University?
central village, henry price residencies and cityside. these are the accommodations which are also quite close to the university. in my opinion i think it is important that your accommodation is a bit further away than the doorstep, reason being it gives a bit of space in your min between uni and home, one thing i have experienced.

Why Did you prefer Leeds University over London universities such as LSE, Queen Mary UoL, Birkbeck UoL, UCL, Goldsmiths and so on.?
the city is smaller and cosy, didn't want a huge place, it is also close to home but i am still able to have my own space designated to me, one thing which i reality like, and Leeds university have more discovery modules and scope in terms of learning which personally was better suited to me.
Why you didn't go to Manchester university as it is near to your home?
I wanted to have that independence and leeds was great fir my degree too

Is it easy to get to the campus? White Rose View seems further away compared to other accomodations in the central village especially
white rose is like a 15 to 20-minute walk. leeds city center is very beautiful and it's a nice walk to the university. so in terms of distance, it is kind of far compared to others, but the experience is way better

go with the university you think feels right. make sure you attend virtual open days or the in person open days and be sure there is plenty of things to do around the university too

leeds is known for its diverse society. there are many international students from all over the world, and of many different races, this is not something to be worried about.

I'm currently 11th grade at the country I live in (Turkey) so I have at least one more year at here. great video, im thinking of going to leeds for economics myself but I don't take a level maths, im good at economics and got a good grade in maths at gcse, how difficult is the maths side of the course and do you think i would struggle with it since i dont have a level maths?
U don't necessarily need maths to get into economics. As long u did well in gcse 7 or above that great
They will get u on the same level as everyone. U will need to work harder tho
Im doing the same, for the first year they put you in a class with other people who didn't do A Level maths
