It reminds me of a proton.
When I change the playback speed to 2X it shows a different effect on my screen.
interesting, i tried on my phone (90hz) 3x: does only pink 4x: random switches between blue, pink, hot pink, orange, and green 5x: strobe
It reminds me of Murray Gell-Mann's Eightfold way.
Perhaps with a more gentle blinking effect it would not induce migraine.
In this particular series the aggressive blinking was needed, but currently I'm experimenting with other colors and timings.

@@boytedinho Sinusoidal amplitude modulation. Your variables (brightness, hue, speed, etc.) could be continuously variable instead of assuming discrete states. Think of a light dimmer going up and down instead of a switch turning on and off.
