A story from just over 5 years ago now. It's all connected fear, anxiety, greed, substance abuse, Parkinson's, prescribed medication side effects, and more substance abuse led to depression. It also lead to a choice and then a question WTFRU? This is my entry into the Speaker Slam Self Awareness Contest on April 21/2021 Thanks to everyone involved in the process, especially my coach Peter who g...

Mental health, Parkinson's, Substance Abuse and Me
half cup cashew milk, half cup egg whites, nice!
How you doing now?
Thank you for posting Martin. What a great way to take something terrible and use it to help others.
I hate to be a party booper, but I am sure your doctor would not like you doing this. You should not go cold turkey off of any medication, but if you want to do this it would be a better comparison if you went gradually. I have had PD for 2 years now and can tell if I'm late taking my medication. My prayers for your future.
As long as you Give It Your All then that's ALL that truly Matters. Heck, Bronze ain't nothing to Sneeze at!!😉
AWESOME Tribute to Your BROTHER!!!!!!👊😎
You sound like such an awesome loving and appreciative Dad! So happy things turned out well for all of you!❤🙏
AMazing!!! How are you doing these days? My brother has Parkinson's and it's a verrry SLOW battle.......😓
Guys I'm worried, I have a tremor in my right hand.😢
No tremors when your not taking meds but difficulty in moving small movement in walking. Im also like you so much pain huhuhu the Medicines is very much expensive. I have no sponsor hope i can find someone who can help.
Thank you for sharing your vedio. With out medicine we cannot live normal i feel you. There’s a lot of different, difficulty in moving wothout medicine.
looked like dude was cranking one off with his other hand
Appreciate you sharing this and being so open about it. I’m sure it’s not easy. I’ve been diagnosed with Essential Tremor and I’ve been told it could lead to Parkinson’s. I cannot take any meds as all of them give me really bad side effects. Anyway again thanks for the encouragement and inspiration you have us.
Hi! Your DBS IS ON?
Thank you for sharing this which cant be easy, especially skipping the meds! It seems to also affect mood and personality? Which seemed quite flattened. Helping to try to get my brother a diagnosis. It was a relief to hear him laugh and see you feel better after the meds. You're incredibly strong
Arent you shaking? I thought that is the primor symptoms??? My father was diagnosed reasently with Parkinson and my grandmother had Parkinson as well. All my family on my fathers side of family have big problems with restless legs. I got it when I was a kid. My gramdmother shaked very much but perhaps there are better medicines today. I hope so for my father. I hope you are fine! ❤
Thank you for always being there for me.
im happy you are here
This helped me to stop shitting myself , my life has remained unshat because of this😊
Hi Martin. I was just diagnosed yesterday with Parkinson’s it’s good to see that this disease is able to be managed with the proper medication. I’m still trying to wrap my head around all this. I’m trying to learn all I can about our disease.
Look at the movements of your feet.
Please look into a mineral balancing program based on hair tissue mineral analysis. Hooking up with one of Dr L Wilson's practitioners should suffice.
just get as much heroin/oxy/fentanyl and benzos(xanax/klonopin) as u can, and live the fast life for the next few years feeling great...fuck it, its over anyway

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ve seen many videos on dbs, should make a huge difference! I’m currently digesting 17 sinimet per day coupled with .5 entacopone. And 3 cr at night. No tremors in almost 5 years..see you on the next one ❤️🤙🏽🇨🇦
@GoProGoalieUzi May I ask how long since you were first dx with Parkinsons?
@@gloriamaryhaywood2217 I was diagnosed in 2018 at the of 40. I now take 24-25 sinimet per day.
Looking good!! I have exercised my entire life and will continue to do so!! Rock on buddy! ❤️🇨🇦
Well said bro!! I just found your channel ❤️ I am 44 and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2018 at 40. My channel is mostly about mountain biking, hunting, hockey and watches..feel free to check out. Subbed ❤️🇨🇦
hey martin, been watching your content a few months. I'm currently in my second year of parkinsonism-like symptoms. I'm 37. Is this video of you on medication such as Levodopa, or have the effects warn off from it at this point? I saw your most recent video after DBS and it looks promising. Thanks for all the content.
Do you ever have problems with you neck or head area? I have been experiencing for awhile my head shaking and moving right by itself.
Hi I'm 22 and i ve this disease just 1 week now. My head shake constantly and my hands. I feel dizzy all day . Idk what to do. I ve qst should I stop doing sport ? Like playing football or running... I don't want waste dopamine anymore.
Hello I'm 45 from New Zealand, I was diagnosed in June 2021 am in the very early stages, still confused and scared.
I Absolutely hate this disease-especially at such a young age. Hang in there mate!

I thought he was being careless he would fall a lot And I would be so mad at him next symptom was the way he walked He would drag his feet. Your video was the first video I watched after my husband got diagnosed

It is my greatest joy that I met dr Madida on youtube whom by his herbalist service cured my herpes virus and candidiasis with his herbal medicine.
Well said. Thank you for sharing. And a very happy birthday to your sister!
And it's all trash !!
I’m in early stages I’m terrified i am scared to death
It's scary at first but eventually the fear goes away I was diagnosed very young at 27 I can't walk anymore or move my left arm but I haven't given up living i'm 50 now and many people thought I would be dead by now but I am not.
