I just want to leave a message for someone who may read this. I'm sitting with my cat late at night who has left two large drops of drool on the bed. She's happy. God has blessed us. Allow me to pray. Lord, you've changed my life in ways I didn't think possible. I look forward to an eternity of being in thy presence. To those who don't yet know you, or those who don't even know whether you exist, I thank you for making yourself known unto them. Please remove all the lies of this world we are taught that have caused so many of us to doubt your existence. You removed my veil, and I thank you for the knowledge of the truth of you.. the perfect Father.. the One in whom is no corruption. Be thou blessed, Lord. For those suffering, Master.. poverty, drugs, alcohol, depression, fear, hunger, abuse.. the list goes on, deliver us, feed us, protect us, heal us and more. Your word says you are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, so if what I ask doesn't cover that which the reader needs, not only have you given me the faith to know you will cover what is needed, but you will go above that for them.. and their loved ones. I give you thanks now, Father, for the miracles you will do. Be thou glorified, Lord, for that which you do for us. Please, warm our hearts, feed us, give us good rest, and above all salvation, that we may spend eternity with you in your heavenly kingdom. Please send thine angels to surround and protect us.. to watch over us, our kids, our loved ones.. and give us all thy Spirit.. the greatest gift anyone could ever receive. Give us spiritual gifts.. that we may prophesy, heal one another, have great faith.. equip us to do thy will. Thank you for your abundant mercy and forgiveness. Lord.. having been the following, my heart and prayer goes out to anyone who thinks they've done such wrong, addicted to drugs for so long.. been so hateful.. etc.. that you, Lord, couldn't possibly love them or forgive them. You did me, and I thank you, Father, that you forgive, deliver, heal and love those suffering and possibly feeling hopeless. Nothing is too difficult for you, Master. I thank you for your love, kindness, grace and much more. Please draw us all to Christ, that we may become children of the Most High. In Jesus' name. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Confession- I am literally tone deaf. However by some magic as yet unknown to me- my 15 year old daughter- a talent violinist, pianist and choir singer told me after hearing this music played at the D Day commemoration. ‘It is in minor keys throughout and gives an uncanny other world feeling! It’s has no bar lines meaning no entry and no real exit. It is just like life it opens unannounced and leaves just the same’ she sat and played the first piece from her memory and how right she is. Satie did indeed write music like it was living! I played it on the piano and wondered if he ever really knew how haunted we would be by his music! Vive la 🇫🇷❤️

Tjank you fir this compilation. I think ES must be one of the most underrated, underappreciated and underplayed composers! I wonder how many pieces he wrote which we rarely if ever hear?
