We love watching catch and cook videos. My son, Jace, had the idea that we should start videoing our own hunting and fishing catch and cook videos with him, his brother, and his sister. Hopefully, you will enjoy watching them as much as we enjoy making them!!!
Catch And Cook Gone Wrong!!! Parasite Ridden Bass
This trip took an unexpected turn when we started cleaniing the bass. While cleaning them I discovered the had some kind of parasitic worms in them. Luckily, the trout we kept was perfectly fine.

Catch And Cook Challenge With A 6 Year Old- Using Nothing But His Fishing Pole, Tackle Box, Worms

This challenge only permits Cole to do the fishing. The only thing I can help with is baiting his worm, netting, and unhooking the fish. I am also the camera man and cook. It starts off slow and takes hours before he finally catches the first trout and storms kept blowing in on us. He stuck with it and caught 3 really nice rainbow trout all by himself.

What a day! Things started off slow and we spent all day on the river to catch these. Alex catches a good keeper trout and then the bass. At that point we had been fishing for about 3 hours and that was the first fish we had caught. We spotted three giant trout and spent the day trying to get them to bite. We finally outsmarted one of them and Jace was able to land it. All 3 kids caught some go...
Creole Blend Seafood Seasoning Trout- Catch And Cook

Cole, Alex, Jace, and mustache dad hit the river and have a good day trout fishing and spending time together. We use a new seasoning that mom (aka Megan) saw at the store and bought for us. It turned out amazing and is one of our top 3 favorite seasonings for trout now.

The fish were biting good on this day! We caught over 20 rock bass and we kept 6 nice sized trout that we cooked and ate.

Trout Fishing NC- Catch And Cook (Lemon and Pepper trout)

We had a crazy idea to try cooking the trout with an actual lemon and jalapeno pepper. It turned out amazing. We saw a bunch of big fish and lost a few at the bank. The GoPro overheated on us and we ended up missing videoing at least one good fish that got away right at the bank.

We finally caught some crawfish big enough to eat! The trout were biting great and Cole catches his personal best. We went with Old Bay seasoning to cook the crawfish and the trout in. That is one of our favorite ways to cook them.

2 Days of Shrimping, Crabbing, and Black Drum Fishing- Catch And Cook

We did our first ever shrimp, Crab, and Black Drum catch and cook. We rented a house that had it's own dock which gave us perfect access to the inlet. We didn't catch as many keepers as we had hoped, but we still caught quite a few and managed to make a great surf and turf dinner. I know the kids had a great time on this trip and we even got mom (Megan) to participate even if it was just briefly.

Jace and I spent the day at the lake fishing from the bank and a dock. We caught quite a few small ones, but the big ones were hard to come by. We experimented with underwater videoing for the first time.

Alex and I had a daddy and daughter fishing day. She caught a few and almost landed the largest trout anyone in our family has ever caught. Sadly, I mess up trying to net it and the line breaks allowing it to get away. It was still awesome to see! We kept one rainbow to cook up in Bristol Bay seasoning. It turned out really good.

Jace and I went out and hit some of the mountain streams of Western North Carolina. Things started off strong and then the trout didn't want to bite that well. We were able to catch some other species of fish in this video also. We used Slap Ya Mama seasoning and it turned out really good!

It was a dreary day for fishing, but we were able to make it work. In addition to the weather, there were a lot of others out fishing the same area. We did learn that bacon and trout are a great pairing though!

I really enjoyed watching you guys on your video with the catch and cook for bluegill that was a fun video and you guys did pretty good I know you guys are up and coming on the RUclips channel and I'm going to like and subscribe because that was really a lot of fun to see you and your son out there together fishing and cooking together that was really great that reminded me of me and my dad and me and my grandpa. So I love bluegill myself and you guys look like you cooked it absolutely wonderfully because that's what I cook my bluegill in is that fish fry from the Louisiana fish fry or the regular one but you do have to add a little extra something to it. So other than that all I can say is great video and I can't wait to see more from you guys and I hope you guys really take off strong on this RUclips thing you're doing because I'm right here ready to watch and I can't wait to see more fishing and cooking videos from you.

Nice trout. Which stream is it? I am from NC and I tried Willson Creek and Davidson River last week with no luck.
I’m not sure what the name of the stream is. One of my friends gave me directions to get to it. We had never fished there until this year. That’s disappointing you didn’t do well at Davidson River. We’re wanting to try fishing there in the near future.
Hey im new to the channel but i really enjoy the content. Just some advice, trout have really sensitive skin though if you’re planning on releasing any small ones wet your hands before grabbing them so y’all don’t hurt their skin.

my area has no good places to fish so i usually wait like 3 hours before i catch anything..
That’s a bummer! Maybe plan some camping trips or mini vacations to some places that are known for good fishing.
