In this video I'll be showing the results of using these two iconic Fujifilm cameras, all results are SOOC (straight out of camera) only a few have had some cont...
Shooting a short film on the SONY A7 IV
Просмотров 1,8 тыс.2 года назад
I've been using the Sony a7 IV for many months now, used it for a lot of documentary work. Recently, I had a break from client work, I wanted to test it in a fiction run & gun environment... coupled with 3 APS-C lenses and natural light. Loved the result. let's connect: aminehamouda89
What are your thoughts about “what the subjects get?” out of the photos… I always have the feeling that I’m using them, that is not my intention but in some way it is like that… even more, what if a shot brings some positive attention to you as photographer, subjects just stay at were they were but us/you as photographer just have them as stepping stone.
Thank you, helpful info! 👌🏽
Great video! The tips can be useful in diverse fields.
Thank you very much
This is the type of videos i love. Very good explanation. Client work is different and sometimes we use our creativity for them. And thats ok, thats our job. Here and then we need a break like this. And what i support the most in this video you just took the minimum amount of equipment with you and did the magical thing of taking the best shots with what you have in your hands. Most colleges, even my self, we run with so much equipment on the field. But at the end of the day it’s really enough to focus on one thing. I like to take one camera and one lens to go out and shoot especially in the last years when the equipment became just to heavy and i focus more on my true creativity.
Thanks 🙏 🙏
Wonderful insight and video man, very sober and level headed take that is actually applicable. Good work man super stoked you popped up on the feed and keen to stay along on this ride you're creating 🤘

Thank you Cody! Glad you've enjoyed it :)
...did you always used a mist filer?
Depending on the situation, either mist filter or a vintage lens.
Amine, I have only recently discovered your channel, and am absolutely loving every video. Regards and deepest gratitude from an Egyptian/Australian photographer and film maker. Upwards and onwards.

Beautiful video my friend... Keep up the good work
Thank you 🙏
Great video. I still use an x-t1 from 10 years ago. It's definitely good enough for photos.
Exactly ! Thank you for watching :)
you will have to put a tape over the top sensor, sensor of proximity i think it is, that triggers the flip over screen
Thank you! Will give that a go ! Appreciate it :)
great work, good eye - all the best for you!
Thank you 🙏 likewise :)
Hi can i ask your opinion? Xe-4 27mm f2.8 pancake lens vs X100V Which one do you prefer ?
X100v : the silent shutter /viewfinder / camera body .. make it the better choice. (Also, it has an F2 lens). But if it’s not available or out of reach, the XE4 would be a good alternative (especially if you want to do video, as it records for a longer time 30min vs 10 min of the X100v)
@@AmineHamouda thank youu ❤️
You're cute ❤🏳️🌈
Solid vid
Thanks 🙏
New subscriber right here. Great work
Thank you 🙏
Very nice Video with a great statement! To much or always new gear stop you out.
Thank you 🙏
Awesome photography dude! I have a X-T3 and I cannot wait to take it with me on the road!
Thank you 🙏 ! Enjoy your trip :)
I agree with you. I’ve the XT4 and it’s a great camera. It’s the marketing people who keep creating gas. I sold my x100v as I didn’t like it that much but I’m still tempted by the x100vi. That’s the marketing people again lol
Absolutely. Putting marketing aside. If a camera will suit your needs and the budget is reasonable for your funds, go for it! Enjoy it and use the heck out of it :) cheers 👋
Looking forward to the next video Amine. I recently got out of the fuji ecosystem as it's hard to be surrounded by the culture of those shooting them with the whole "keeping up with the joneses" attitude of constant upgrades. That said, I follow your channel for a lot more than what gear you shoot. You have a very specific niche that isn't covered much regarding "documentary projects" so keep up the great work!
Thank you Cody! Exactly... I am tired of the gear convos tbh... the next video will be uploaded this week:: on gaining access for doc stories. Cheers :)
Great! Please keep up with this kind of really interesting content. Enough gear-related ramblings on RUclips already.
Thank you 🙏
absolutely love the video! Would you mind sharing your Color chrome settings for the x100v? I would be very grateful
sure, it is all written on this blog I wrote : www.aminehamouda.art/blog/untitled-post3

I love your work 😀
Thank you 🙏 this makes my day :)
Best sentence I've heard in a RUclips video for a long time. "Please remember why you got in to photography." 🙏
Really great video, thanks for the great summary. I'd love to see more 🙏🙂
Thank you 🙏 I appreciate your comment :)
