Welcome to our teeny tiny farm in the Pacific Northwest! We like to find ways to have fun and play with our horses. You will sometimes see Pepe aka Pepper the Dogo Argentino mix, kitties, pigs, cattle, or other animals as well as the horses. Django is a 16 hand senior registered Paint horse (Heza Dun Deal). Chica is a senior BLM Mustang. Suede is a Grandson of the famous barrel horse sire, Frenchman's Guy, he is a registered appendix (My French Affair), 8 years old 15.2h (ish) buckskin gelding.

Many folks don't know how smart horses are. They are smart and loyal....
They are very in tune with human emotions and communication. It’s really interesting and sweet.
He might be smarter than that. I'll guess that if he detected unfamiliar heart rate, sniffed a change in order or temperature fluctuations he might be a bit more aggressive with shoving you around. Just guessing. Don't know anything about horses but what I've been learning, watching these posts. Thanks though. I'm loving how these beasts behave.

Great question! Chiropractic treatments is more physical manipulation. Here I am putting gentle pressure on his pole (top of the head) and then moving the head and neck in different directions. I hope that makes sense. If not, you might get a better response by googling both equine acupressure aka body work and equine chiropractic therapy. 🥰

Thank you for caring about him. 🥰 If he were younger and healthier, I would work more on his topline. Hill work is great for that, but since he is a senior and has mild arthritis I don’t want to put him through that. 💕

It is a Bob Marshall treeless saddle. It’s really comfortable! They make barrel racing specific models as well.

I can’t remember, but I think she went for between 15-20000.
People should consider the idea of horse sharing. You could split the vet bills and trade off your time (with your partners) when someone's busy so the horse is never neglected. Just an idea but too much love is never a bad thing. It's a bit easier on the pocketbook too.
I do know two girls who share a horse and it works well for them. It is a great idea!
I can totally relate. Do you remember Demi Moore's beautiful long black hair? She said she used the Mane & Tail shampoo and loved it (in case you run out of shampoo one day). 🤗
