Просмотров 1,4 тыс.2 года назад
This video covers the process of measuring a watch case for a crystal when an original crystal isn't present or available to be measured. We will cover: 1. Disassembling a vintage Bulova movement - Relaxing Watch Repair - Unintentional ASMR - With Sound
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.3 года назад
Today I'm disassembling a vintage Bulova watch movement. I hope you enjoy. Around the :47 mark, the sound you'll hear is the gear train releasing after the pallet fork is removed. We definitely try to avoid that happening (by releasing the mainspring), but fear not. This is a spare watch movement. I can assure you: NO watch parts were harmed in the making of this video. 😁

When the shell cracks, you will hear a slightly different sound. 3. Use an old shell or end of knife to finish prying the pistachio open.

How to Align Audemars Piguet AP Watch Bezel Screws Repair
Просмотров 5 тыс.4 года назад
AP bezel bolt slots should have a "circle" appearance around the dial. When changing the battery, sometimes these screws become misaligned. Resolving this problem is simple and can be accomplished with few tools.

    I like your presentation. Very simple and straightforward. Could I suggest making a well produced video of the complete assembly, the only video of a 3185 service is in Spanish and doesn't sound very well.

    Hey question for ya! Im going to get my AP bezel set with gems. They are charging $500 just to remove the bezel. If I do what you did in this video, and unscrew the entire caseback and put all the bolts out, will the steel bezel come off? Or is there more to it? Thanks!

    • @watchmakerrepairs4148
      @watchmakerrepairs4148 3 года назад

      For this model, yes, removing the caseback screws allows the bezel to be removed. HOWEVER, there are gaskets involved with the bezel and the caseback. And if you don't properly handle and seat the gaskets, the watch loses its water resistance. I hope that helps.
